Very good. Perfect location right at the beach. If u open your window at night, u can hear the sound of the sea. Amazing. Rooms are clean, fresh towels every day. Nice view of the sea. Breakfast was perfect. Every day fresh fruit, like watermelon and pineapple. Omelet with bacon, toast and jelly, orange yuice and coffee as much as u want. The staff was very friendly and kind, and so helpfull. The hotel is small scale, and no massa toerisme, wich I think was ideal. There are sunbeds for rent, ri.
all reviews » The location of the hotel is perfect, on the beachfront and close to shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable,clean and enjoyed the view from the balcony. This was the most important feature of the hotel when the booking was made and the view was excellent indeed. Couldn't ask for better! The personnel did everything to assist and gave us lots of personal attention. Really enjoyed the breakfasts outside.Good value for money when travelling on a budget. Good value for money, as it has beach views. quite cheap location sea view free wifi. The outside of Thai Kamala Village looked rather traditional & from first appearances were thinking..great value. The absolute beachfront location was the winner. All shut down when we arrived in the day but did come to life at night meaning bar & restaurant open & the service, food & atmosphere was great. seaview and directly at the beach. i like seaside. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel rooms are quite small but nice. No breakfast provided but mamma Mia restaurant's food aside the hotel was good. Cards are not accepted and they need cash only. Sometimes, when the tide is rising, some garbage from toerists washing at the beach. If every person pics up 3 peaces of garbage, all the beaches will be clean again :-). We did request a late check in as our plane only arrived after 22:00. On arrival the personnel appeared not to be aware of the booking but this was sorted without too much trouble. The beach in front of the hotel is very dirty with litter and nobody seems to clean it at all. If this could be done the setting will be even better although the rest of Kamala Beach seems to be cleaner. Small bathroom The light of the balcony didn't work ( not a big deal ). Bathroom was a bit tired and could do with updating. The too natural environment..sometimes there are some little creatures like small spiders and lizards.Not a perfect choice for girls who are afraid of them. Depending on the tide, it can be unclean to go into the sea when dirt/sewage from the nearby creek flows into the sea. The Kamala authorities should do something about this filthy dirty creek. no hot water. it was a little dated but was still nice. - The hotel is a little hard to find... No clear signs on the road - the walk from the road to the actual hotel can be a pain if you have many heavy bags because of all the steps - we had asked for a double bed but they just pushed two single beds together. A little run down and no hot water witch is not mention in the hotel or room description. Also the attached restaurant Mama Mia is terrible. For a restaurant to charge twice as much as any other restaurant for a soft drink and is not cheap you would expect the service and food to be better. beach is very dirty in front of the hotel breakfast very basic no wifi reception in rooms AC too cold or too warm AC blows the air straight to your face, you catch cold Staff said no breakfast included although it said breakfast included in the confirmation. After a while she had some emails and everything was ok. We had room 201 & although it is in the best position, it smelled of mildew & the bathroom man hole was mouldy & leaking with rain. No coffee/ tea facilities in room & perhaps it should be known to guests that there is no breakfast in the low season. Kamala is out of the way. There are only some small shops that press u to come in. The restaurants are quite expensive and the beach at the hotel was very dirty. no any supply like hot pot heater. Rooms are small and not 50 sqm as stated in the info. Furnitures are old and worn out. Toilets are too small and no bath tubs. Lights are not working and they are too old.
