Absolutely outstanding place. The best hotel in this part of island and probably one of the best on Samui. Luxurious and spacious room, very clean. Very comfortable beds.Terrace with tropical view. Great bathroom with jacuzzi bathtube and shower, upon arrival bath with flowers waiting for us - it made us really impressed. Everything was perfectly prepared and ready for all of us (2 adults and a kid), including beach towels. This is not common in many hotels (very often we have to wait for extra.
all reviews » In the Bay of Chang moon I think the most beautiful hotel. We took a room with a terrace and never for a moment of pity. Large room in Thai style, a Jacuzzi, a spacious shower. You can open the door and create a feeling that you bathe in the jungle. Cleaning of the rooms are completely arranged, friendly staff. Breakfast quite rich, all that is necessary is. Dinner for the money a bit too expensive, but there is always a choice, you can go outside of the hotel and eat cheap. A great plus of the. Situated on a lovely beach with tables for dinner on the sand in the evening. A nice selection for breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the large pool. I really enjoyed moonlit swimming in our private pool. The suites were very large and well equipped and spa bath was a luxury. Nice hotel organised floating market on a wednesday night. Choengmon beach has a decent selection of restaurants and gift shops. Also 5 mins or so by taxi to the centre of Chaweng Beach for busier nightlife and partie. Wonderful design of Villas with pool! My hot tube didn't work and took 2 days to repair sine my request. Need to communicate English slowly so that it is understood by the staff. Hire a car form the street with full insurance much cheaper than hotel rate. The indoor training machines could improve: the touch screens should be checked. There could also be more than one running belt. the mosquitoes were annoying but the repellent in the mini bar in our room worked very well. If I really had to complain, the only thing wodbe that a net should be provided around the bed to stop Mosquitos. Special plugs were provided however a net could have been too. Occasionally there were power outages which affected internet, and some water outages as well (luckily short in nature). Mosquitoes , the must provide some good Mosquitoes sprays to protect from them. Had to continually log on to wifi. The only 2 things this resort lacked, the staff are friendly but there English was terrible. Also the food was terrible and always took a long time to arrive. Thai music in the morning was painful at times.... No lift to 3rd floor suite. Folding doors don't seal completely so mosquitos could get in( the beds have mosquito nets though). It took them 2 days to fix the jets on the jacuzzi tub, private pool never was warm enough to be comfortable. Older resort but was maintained okay. It was lower season but many shops and restaurants nearby were closed or closed early. No separate toilet cubicle. A bit expensive compared to other options. Internet connection needs improvement. the guys at the reception were not so friendly. What was really annoying is that all the prices in the hotel are shown without service charge (10%) and tax (7%), so you always have to calculate - it felt a bit like cheating the customer with small print at the bottom of the page. nothing. Additional tax and service added to hotel drinks and food bill wihout notice. I would have preferred to know about these additions prior to or when ordering food and drink. the mosquitoes, we had a very nice balcony, but unusable due to too many mosquitoes. A lot of insects. The location of the gym seemed a bit ridiculous and the fact that it does not have a mirror is unbelievable. I have no bad thoughts of the hotel or the staff..all good. Too many families with kids who makes noise. We had a room with a pool but we didnt realy use it since the area is too shady. Mosquitos! Stayed in Koh Samui some years before but don't remember so many mosquitos. Mosquito. No have SeaViee. Big Huge rooms but not designed good and prodcutive. Side tables are small and bed is huge. No Cart to go to beach as it is 2 minutes walk. But can be issue if u are tired or have family. Food Options in Breakfast are good but not clean. Insects flying around. Tea is bad. No Lifeguards @ Pool or beach and staff. Scary at night times at walk ways. No taxis available to go anywhere else. So, held up.. All the terraces are overlooking each other and have a view of all the private pools! This might not be an issue for some, but its a big issue for those who want privacy. During my stay people rarely used the terraces or the pools, I think mainly for this reason. Other than that very good hotel. Even though the staff were trying, it was hard to communicate with them in English. Room service menu was limited and took a long time to bring to the room. Couldn't locate the DND card but overall a good experience. There was no information in the Room about the facilities at the Resort. Unfortunatly it was not a good time of the year for swimming in the Ocean. However this is not the fault of the Hotel. muskitos.
