We booked a villa in this lovely resort for six nights and loved every minute from the moment we checked in until the day we left. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and most had excellent English. The grounds and rooms are impeccably maintained. We enjoyed daily breakfast (excellent spread) and a couple of evening meals in the restaurant, which were all of good quality and reasonably priced. all reviews » We enjoyed the lovely setting of Siripanna, the low-rise buildings, mixed with villas, the lush, green gardens, lovely unusual pool. Our room comfortable and spacious. Staff very accommodating but you did have to come up with the questions of what to do, touring wasn't openly offered here. Didn't mind that it was slightly out of town, the beautiful setting more than made up for this and the area was interesting. However free shuttles to the main markets and the night bazaar helped. We were upgraded to one of the fantastic poolside villas which was very comfortable and luxurious. The staff on reception spoke very good English and were extremely attentive and helpful. The swimming pool was lovely and much needed to escape the heat of the city. Everything was amazing! The room was beautiful, the beds really comfy, all the sorroundings of the hotel are beautiful. They have the best pool you'll ever see, saltwater perfect temperature, relaxing music. I will come back anytime. Highly recommended. We felt very welcome. The hotel starts to be dated. Signs of wear and tare are everywhere and need some attention by the management. A fresh lick of paint, new towels for the bathrooms and sunbeds would give the whole place a fresh look. The restaurant staff are always moving about re-filling, cleaning as it is a buffet making it look very restless and too busy. No free wifi. The location is not very good. It's bit far from downtown where the shops and temples are. There's no wifi in the room. Nothing. a little far from the old city. Its far from market. nothing. The lines to front desk and house keeping never work. a bit far from the shopping areas. cleaning and room facilities can improve. the hotel is not 5 star hotel.
