Beautiful riverside hotel, amazing and attentive staff! Worth the short ten minute drive from town, beautiful place!!! Great breakfast with tons of variety made fresh Great pool overlooking river, delicious cocktails from bar Cozy rooms, very spacious Would definitely go back!. Lanna Mantra was great value for money and very pleasant. The staff, location and room was all wonderful. The gardens are stunning and well kept. The free shuttle bus to town twice a day was also a bonus. I would definately go back there and reccomend it to anyone.
all reviews » quite and beautiful hotel. Breakfast was good. We booked 2 connecting rooms which were comfortable and got very good garden and river view from the balcony of the rooms. And the traditional massage we had in the hotel was very good!. the hotel is not so far fm the old town, room is good and with a big balcony.breakfast is good and stuff is helpful, i think it's a better choice than the hotel in the old town,consider the price. A lovely hotel in a nice setting right next to the river. The accomodation is spacious and clean with good wifi connection. Breakfast was good with a range of fruit, toast, eggs, bacon etc. location right by the River Ping, simplicity but style and comfort of thwe rooms, wooden furniture lanna-style and great balconies Relaxing, peaceful, good sized pool. The location is a bit of a drive out of town but in a good position if you want to drive yourself to the majority of the attractions, as they tend to be north of the centre. nothing really, was pleased with most things. About a 10 minute drive from town, but it did not bother us.. it was a beautiful place. Did not like that there were no covers/nets over the buffet breakfast which allowed for ants and flies to sit on it. A little far from the center of Chiang Mai so you need a taxi to get to most places, but that makes it quieter there... The view from our room was hindered by another building. I would suggest specifically requesting which room you would like. Nothing lanna mantra exceeded all of our expectations we were sad to leave. If I had a gun I would of shot the rooster!!!. Far from restaurant but the food in hotel is also good. smoking property. Other than breakfast the food was terrible as the restaurant wasn't fully operational. There was a menu and food was served but truly lacking. No other dining close and traveling was difficult from this location. Seating around pool not good due to ants. the location is not good, very far away from down town (about 9km). and the shuttle bus time is limited, at 10.30 am and 6pm, the most bad thing is that the bus is not round way, there are no one pick you back to hotel, and the taxi is very expansive they will charge you 200THB when you back. The breakfast is ok, but there are too many insects because resturant is outdoor. The food is not good. However, it is outstanding bargains. Breakfast: lack of variety and poor quality. Simple breakfast and too less facilities around kids swimming pool. Poor light in bathroom Taxi quite expensive to go in city. Wifi always problem, slow connection. The staff were not very service minded. One of the receptionists was rude and expressed great irritation when asking her of anything. The pool was dirty. The hotel and rooms in general are very tired and dated. Breakfast was boring and tasteless.
