Good location, very close to railway station, close to nice restaurants in chinatown. Wifi is ok but it is only in the coffee shop, but you don't have to order to use it (but then you miss the excellent rice soup). The room was big with a view over chinatown, the bed was good. Considering the price the hotel was very good. I found the staff make this hotel all are so friendly and helpful I felt very welcome. Every morning I was met with smiles and a greeting at times I wish I could have spoken thai language but again I still felt welcome and I will be recommending this place to any of my friends who travel to bangkok.
all reviews » Location - it's right next to a train station, and a right between old Bangkok and Siam square, short ride from both. If you're staying in Bangkok short time, and your travel includes train, this is a good choice. Tip: pick a smoking room (balcony) and 6-7 floor, it has a nice night Bangkok view. This hotel is next to the train station so it's very comfortable if you are going somewhere by tain. MRT is also two minutes on foot from the hotel. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The staff is friendly..the location is 5 minutes walk to the railway station so those who wants to travel by train, this place is very near to the station.. Close to the train station in Bangkok so if you need to catch an early morning train in 5 minutes you are there. No wifi in rooms,only in restaraunt where you feel like you have to order something to use it. Most modern hotels have wifi throughout. Wifi should be in avery room. Hotel is very old. I mean very old. Looks like from 50s or 60s. Rooms and showers were clean, but everything looks like it's at leat 50 years old. If you want modern look like in western hotels, don't stay. Also wifi is available only in the lobby and it's very poor qality (weak signal, very slow). the room was quite tired. The beds were very hard - but we didn't mind that. No wifi in room and only reall worked in restaraunt so you feel you have to eat there in order to use wifi. Most hotels nowadays have wifi throughout. no wifi in the room. I booked a room for 550THB/night, but the stuff wanted me to pay 650THB. They tried to persuade me that the reservation is not valid because they hadn't confirmed it before my arrival. Finally I paid 550THB but it cost me 30min of arguing. The mattress is hard. Can't get wifi from the room. The place was a little bit dodgy. The photos on letsbookhotel.com were misleading. WIFI available only in the lobby. Internet is not provided by the Hotel, there is no place to charge your battery in common area where Internet should be. hotel was soul-less. they accept only cash to pay for the rooms.
