Good location for the bustle of Soi Nana, but far enough away to be quiet. Very friendly staff, nice café at the front. Rooms are modern style, wooden floors, flatscreen TV, glass in bathroom. and nicely decorated. Will stay again. Two times in 2011 ,two times in 2013 , all four times excellent , I will use dawin hotel again and again , you can find cheaper but for the location and the clean experience none better.
all reviews » I always stay at this hotel when in Bangkok, close to good transport links to reach all parts of this wonderful city. In a quiet enough area being down the Soi 4 strip if you will. I like everything abut this hotel most of all the staff all very helpfull, i have stayed at the Dawin alot over the last 4 years and will keep coming back it's a very clean hotel. Every thing at this hotel was amazing but the only thing i didnt like that it doesnt has balcony and windows cannot be opened .. BF was perfect and we like it so much.. tasty. excellent staff at reception,good internet, room cleaned every day good house staff, luggage locked in private area after checkout.one elevator seemed to suffice. nice hotel close to bts train and nightlife. the room is well equipment and clean. staff is professional and friendly. the restaurant has a good quality. I was enjoying the restaurant at ground floor and the staff was really helpfull. After all everything was proper for a middle class hotel. Location is great. the staff are really helpful. The food is superb. We have stayed here before...and will do so again. All in this hotel is liked. The facilities, the location, the attention, the rooms, the employees all are nice. Nothing bad to say, as always about this hotel. Other travellers however should beware of what is on Soi 4 and be prepared, still fun though. Nothing at all it was amazing... strange odour in hallways. the aircon is oriented on the bed and it's little noise. Even if the room was clean, the smell inside was not nice. I booked a no smoking room so i don't know what was wrong. Leaving. nothing. A bit of a nitpick, but the wifi setup is ancient and irritating. Otherwise, thumbs up all around. Street a little noisy and wouldn't recommend for families. Nothing Downtown Bangkok is not for kids. nothing. No gym. Pricey still for what you get. Nothing!. Nothing. Would stay again! :). No car park. can not complain.. Breakfast needed to order instead of buffet. Small Resturant. as there are no thai people staying there,the cable tv,was all in thai,including movies channels dubbed in thai,no news channels of any kind,nor english speaking channels,all guests are foreigners,speaking english,not thai. No negative comments. Noisy air con. Small room with no. View looked across into other hotel room. Bit of a hike to Nana bts so have to take a taxi 50 baht each time or 10-15 mins walking. Higher price but maybe Soi 4 is prime location and why you pay extra. little swimming pool. There are 95% "Ladies" taken from Bars to the hotel, which makes it not pleasant for "normal" guests. At the Lobby bar the waitresses joke about people who do not come with one night stand "Ladies". This is very bad behaviour towards customers. Breakfeast only at the Lobby. Rooms small. they take money from my account by Visa Card after my booking and when i check out they said you have to pay cash and we will return your money after 3week in your account that only guarantee!!!!till date nothing come back to me more than one month . Poor TV reception and channels, overpriced rooms..I stayed in superior room, no bathrobe slippers etc which is the norm for this price.
