I could talk about the extremely friendly stuff, the comfortable bed, the best location in Bangkok, direct connection to Terminal 21 and Skytrain and the great view. But, the seafood buffet we had for dinner was out of this world. We got a fresh supply of seafood, including lobster, prawns, mussels, and more. Also, amazingly fresh sushi and other great dishes we could not stop eating. The deserts made us cry because they were so good. Don't miss this hotel! Tip: make yourself an SPG member befo.
all reviews » Good facility - Good Staff - Good Stay For what it's worth few of No. 3 Apply It is a Luxury 5 Star Hotel but there is no Beach, I would have trouble finding a back packer... It is close to the shops, and although I did not get a chance to experience the Spa/Relaxation faciitiees I have no doubt they would be up to par - Show me nature and wild life in that region of yhe city and I will be impressed.... I deliberately chose this hotel for the location in an area of the city I know well and close to the BTS for easy transfers to the airport link. We were given an upgrade to an SPG room which could not be faulted for the amenities and had a lovely range of toiletries. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We did not have any meals in the hotel but the bars and restaurants looked appealing. We had a Wonderful stay at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit from July 6-8 & July 19-21. The hotel is beautiful, the accommodation and the staff are Wonderful. Both Richard Chapman (Hotel manager) and Robert (assistant manager) are friendly accessible and make you feel like you never want to leave. The location is good, very convenient to go to ffmalls/stores. We liked the breakfast buffet. It was one of the best we ever had. I was very impressed by its fruit booth of the breakfast buffet, where served all the frest tropical fresh fruits. The staff were very friendly and helpful . In particular the concierge staff. One guy in particular more than went out of his way to make sure I got to the airport on time. Excellent service. The hotel is excellent. Restaunrants are fantastics and the personnel working is very nice and always available to any request. I strongly suggest this hotel both for business and/or holiday. The hotel is bery nicely designed. It is in a great location with direct access to the sky train. Staff is professional and efficient. The four-day stay was a great pleasure. Location was excellent. However we were "shadowed" by a member of staff and this made us both feel uncomfortable and a little unwelcome. The only hotel in a 2 week trip that did not provide free Wi-Fi in the rooms. They have a Thai restaurant, Basal. We found good comments about it. So we tried there. To our disappointment, it was not good. We tried many Thai restaurants, but could hardly put it on our list where we would return. No free wifi in the rooms!. The hotel looks a bit dated but makes up for it with all what it has to offer. There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. Hot water takes to long in the shower. No water-hose next to the toilet seat (for cleaning with water). لا يوجد شطاف في الحمام. The hotel is going through a upgrade currently. During the day you could smell the glue or construction adhesive in the hallways. The internal facilities e.g. restaurants etc. etc. are too expensive!!!.
