We booked a suite for our family of four and were entitled to use the premium lounge. Service staff were excellent, always attentive, helpful and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was a wide selection which helped given we had two picky toddlers. Love the spacious ensuite bathroom (the children especially love the big bathtub that can house mommy and both of them comfortably), family-friendly wading pool and kids' entertainment (a pity it was under repair though but the children kept peeping into.
all reviews » Location is excellent for those who love shopping. Platinum Mall, Centralworld, big c and patnip plaza are all 5 min walk distance. At night, there are plenty of food stalls in the vicinity so we never went hungry. In all, will stay here again for my next visit to Bangkok. Location for shopping was excellent. The Platinum Shopping Mall in the same building. The room is modern and clean The staff was friendly and efficient House keeping arrive within 3 minutes upon request Strongly Recommended for ladies going for shopping in Bangkok. The fact that it is on top of Platinum Fashion Mall and within close proximity of the other major shopping centers. The bed was also very fluffy and comfortable. Breakfast was good but would have appreciate more Thai local choices. We love the bed and the toilet for the executive room and not forgetting the magnificient view. We also would like to thank for the surprise Annivesary cake that was place in the room. Housekeeping did not clean the room until around 5 in the evening and that too, after I have asked them to come. The breakfast should have a mini halal corner for muslim to consume. There will definetly attract more tourists. - Lift proceed up or down are kinda slow, have to wait for like 10 seconds. - Security level have to improve, as anyone are able to access and use the hotel lifts to the rooms. The staff at the front desk couldnt speak good english and we ended up with a miscommunication while checking in. Price: if the hotel can give more promotion or more discount will be great. Sometimes we find it hard to correspond as language seems a minor issue. As a muslim, i am very upset as there were not much variety of halal food. We arrive at the hotel at 3.30pm and was told by the staff that our room is still not ready and was told to come back in 1/2 later. Very hard to get taxi or tuk tuk and is very expensive. Trying to cross the road was dreadful out the front, they need over bridges. As the thais dont stop at pedestrian crossings, and you cross at your own risk. Disappointed when there was only one clean room for us during check in. We booked 2 rooms. They upgraded us to a suite so we can all squeeze in one room instead. However, less convenient as there is only 1 shower for 5 of us. We had to share one bottle of shower gel for 5 of us. In the end, we went down to the swimming pool shower instead. Nothing. Clogged bell trap at the showers area, very small trash can especially in the bathroom. I stayed In the excutive level. . House keeping did not add in extra towels, toothbrushes n slippers for us. There is only 1 item each in a room. Breakfast !!! My recommendation: Book the hotel without breakfast and enjoy a nice one in the surrounding area. The late check in. Need to change lifts at level 6 to take another lift to reach your room level.No straight lift. Internet connection is rather slow. everything was great!. The traffic jam. - Shower facilities isn't that good, water keep dripping out from the hose after bathing. - room wasn't tidied up on the 3rd day even we request for housekeeping. - Limited TV channels. I could have breakfast included at that price in another hotel. Overcrowded. N/A. There are 2 lift to take to get down to basement. No shaver and tooth brush. Have to request. Rooms were very small. It was about a 10-min walk to BTS Chidlom station. Breakfast. Nothing. 3 of us in 2 single beds is not really sufficient. Hope the hotel can arrange for a bigger bed to accomodate for more comfort. Room was to small and though the hotel opened only one year ago, the wall fixed toilet was already loose. The shower in the toilet was leaking heavily. Tight schedule for breakfast and breakfast buffet not up to standards of other 4 star hotels. Poor service. Requested for late checkout at the premier lounge. The staff agreed but when we return to the hotel room after doing some last minute shopping, the cardkey was deactivated. We had to go back to the premier lounge to get it activated again. Shower screen broke down No cotton. Buffet breakfast has no variety and unappetizing. Not enough lighting in room and pillow too soft.
