Great location, well placed for shopping, nightlife and the sky train. Bed very comfortable. very friendly staff, always helpful, they did not have the booking on the system when we turned up and had to find some paperwork... but very efficient and accommodating. Room is big and comfortable and the staff is friendly. location, great value. I,ve stayed several times, however, lst visit was 6-7yers ago.. Hotel now operated by Indian management 7 is clearly for sub continent clientele.. The breakfast , or what little there was of same was very, very poor indeed! The Thai room maids were firendly & room size quite large, but that is only favourable comment we can offer,.
all reviews » Reception Staff are friendly and very good. location. Breakfast buffet is very poor. Very good before when the hotel handled it, then it leased out to Indian business for short while which was real bad and now the hotel took it back and is not very good. Hotel was undergoing renovation , which woke me up little early because of the drilling sound , rest was fine. matresses stacked in middle of common area, like they were replacing all the beds, could have been kept tidy not what looked like been dropped from 3 stories on top of each other. Unfortunately this hotel is under a major renovation that is overdue. I hope that the renovation can restore the beauty and comfort this hotel once had. Under the current condition, the hotel is overpriced and it is hard to suggest that other travellers stay here. bathroom and breakfast. the hotel is now dedicated to indian tourist only' so if you go down in the morning .for breakfast .you have a choice of chapati with rancid looking curry .no western breakfast and a mob of unruly people such a shame. The overall hotel standard has slipped markedly & I,ll not stay there again. Breakfast is not good and Shower Towels are toned up. Fridge is not clean. Overall hotel looks nasty to me. rooms dirty no safe in room i stayed. For 20 or more years I book a room at the regency and that would be 7 or 8 times a year. Over the last year the hotel has sunk to a low standard. No food at breakfast time. No security.and people can ask for the key to your room. Sorry check inn you have manage to destroy what was a nice hotel. I have found another hotel. It´s an Indian Hotel in Bangkok; only good option for Indian´s who like to stay with Indians, don´t want to pay much and who don`t wont a decent breakfast or anything other travellers might enjoy. Coul have been far better. It is really a horible experience... Total hotel was under renovation..... If any one select this hotel by seeing the photos in internet...he will be fool. Please do not recomend any one.....It was a nightmeares to us...
