The price was excellent for the standard you receive.The have a shuttle service to the nearest underground station which is helpful. It takes a while to get around the city so wherever you stay expect a bit of a journey in the city traffic when going by taxi. Lovely pool. Great hotel, welcoming staff, very good at arranging taxis etc. Great pool and leisure facilities eg American pool and gym. Suites have loads of space and great views are available from higher floors. Quick access to the monument and shops. Good local launderette. Swimming pool is on 5th floor, qiute good location, nobody from street can look spacious room, furniture in good condition, big screen excellent food for cheap price very nice view from 12th floor very friednly staff shuttle to the closest metro station. Big rooms. Clean. Fiendly staff. Good size pool. The fitness center is small but got everything you need. 4 running machines etc. They also do monthly rent for around 21-25 000 thb.... The family room was very big with 2 double bedrooms and a separate kitchen/living area. The pool was ok. The shuttle bus to the local MRT station was very useful. Good value. The room was spacious. - Some parts of the room are old and need maintenance: The airconditioner is noisy, the bathroom doorknob is almost broken so I need to shut them hard or it wouldn't close, the hot water in the bathroom always get too hot or too cold, difficult to adjust it to the right temperature. Needed to use taxis or the free shuttle bus to get to the underground or rapid transit system. Nobody and even taxi knows the location, even if you show the address card I found one taxi driver whom I called each time when other drivers cannot find the place. A bit dated. You will have to take a motorbike taxi to the mrt - it will take about 7 min on moto, up to 25 min to walk. Soi 3 from Ratchada rd is very busy and not really any sidewalk. Hard for taxi to find. Say Ratchada streat, soi 3 opposite Grand Plaza. Follow soi 3 all the way down, big green signs will show you the way to bu place. It was a bit hard to find for the taxi drivers in Bangkok. Make sure you have a hotel card and maybe have it written in Thai too. Little hard to find the address when first arrival to this hotel, expecially take taxi at Central world(near Siam center). Not too easy to find at first as it is tucked away from the main roads. The extra charge for wifi is fair enough but as it only connects one device at a time, using the internet can be a little complicated . Very minor points: the TV had little choice in they way of English channels and the bed could be a bit more comfy. No taxi could find this place. Every time they would tell us they knew where it was, couldn't find it, wouldn't listen to my instructions, got mad, and then tried to charge me more when we would finally arrive. It's not the hotels fault but they might consider creating a little leaflet with directions in Thai from the Phraram 9 MTR to the hotel for non thai speakers to give to taxi drivers to stop the madness. one of the staff members at the gym was a right pest, i just wanted to get on with my workout and he kept on trying to 'help me', but this is typical of many Thai's in service jobs, location is fairly poor , no taxi drivers knew where it was. the hotel is hard to find, somethere in the middle of tiny small streets in really Thay neighbarhood. Far away on foot from everywhere. i did not like the internet service.it will be better if free internet in room also. not much shuttle bus to subway station. the downstairs restaurant do not eat there the street food is much better. we were to be picked up at the airport by their own bus but it did not happen due to a mix up so if you stay there and need to get from the airport is much better to make your own arangements. Air-cond Compressor noisy, water heater not working well either too hot nor not hot at all. The location is too crowded and its feel unsafe to walk alone during the night. Cold/Hot water system not function well either too hot or not hot at all, buffer breakfast choices very limited, Cafe not operating on weekend. The pool is fixing while we went to. When we arrived at the hotel we were told the pool was under renovation, the only reason we booked in was so we had a swimming pool for the afternoon when we checked out, the hotel should have been a lower prices there was no pool, and this should be told when you book, also they wouldn't let us keep the room on for free as they were a facility down. The location is very bad. Taxi and local people do not the location and you do not get taxi for travel.staff is very uncourteous . Though they had our credit card and deposit in us$ every time they were asking for money. Most uncooperative staff. I would not recommend it to anyone. Nothing interesting,. Location, wifi not included, customer service, old noisy aircon.
