All of my pre-arrival questions and request were quickly and consideratly answered. The entire staff was extremely obliging to address any of our needs whenever we had a inquiry. The kindness and sincerity of the entire staff made our stay there very relaxing and rewarding. I will plan to stay again at the hotel on my next visit to Phuket. Excellent customer service, including room service. Great selection of restaurants at great prices. Wonderful big pool! Lots to do or great place to relax. Free boat and shuttle around the Laguna area. Affordable (especially at this time of year).

The location was beautiful but exclusive to the point where we felt totally removed from the local people. Staff there is great, helpful and cheerful. property and the surrounding properties. Romantic ambience all around. The location was very nice. The swimming pool closes early and by doing so, the patrons lose out on the ability to fully enjoy the relaxation and beautiful ambient that the hotel offers in the evening hours. I would suggest that the pool stays open until at least 22:00, but restrict children for using it after 20:00. We like to travel with the least amount of impact on the planet as possible so always take the opportunity to be eco-friendly when we can. We would like to see more emphasis on this resort being eco-friendly. though not a great issue. but bathroom door was bit old and was broken. we informed the staff and they mended it immediately. There were no indoor facilities for when it rained. the beach of the hotel is not the best in Phuket. Hotel is a bit remotely located, therefore, without private car (which we hired) its not easy commute to the town. But car-hire is available at the hotel, which is a bit expensive. bed could have been more comfortable. Internetd connectivity was very poor in the room. Better in the lobyy and surprisingly at the beach. expect more chill-out on the beach, as the beach side was not offering anything leasure reccommend ot have more healthy choice for breakfast. Felt too isolated from Thai culture. poor breakfast, some facilities need to be renovated. Location was great for me because I was there for a triathlon event which was held in the vicinity. However, if you are there to sightsee Phuket, you might be a bit far from all the action. a bit old, hotel need a major renovation. internet, WiFi - problem always!!! Take money for it, but internet must be fast - XXI century, not the Stone Age. We found the cost of transport high. Each trip to another beach or town cost us 1,400 Baht. The room (rm# 196) is quite old, gets a feeling of dampliness and has a stuffy smell. Pool closing early. Front office during check in was very unpleasant and made us feel like customers and not guests. The hotel is really a 3 or 4 star hotel. The decor is old and in desperate need for renovation. The spa is minimal and lacking basic facilities such as bathrooms, showers, and pretreatment relaxation site. The food is mediocre at best.

Information about the area

The nearest pier is Bangrong pier and Ao Por pier on the east coast where boats and ferries leave for Phang-nga Bay, Krabi, Lanta island and Phi Phi island.

Phuket borders on Phang-nga Province to the north. The other three sides are encircled by the Andaman Sea the place where many of the best diving sites are located.
