Very nice hotel and staff - it makes all the difference. Great location - near the nightlife and centre but in a perfect quiet and safe. location. Breakfast is amazing!!! The best I'be had in my long holiday. The beach is really nice, but anyone can use the hotel facilities as there is no control. We never had any problems as there was a lot of space. Restaurant/bar by the beach. Pool towels.
all reviews » Fantastic location on the beach, only a short walk from restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. We were greeted at reception with an ice cold drink after a very long and hot journey. I would definately stay here again. Loved the pool, the huts, the staff were lovely. They have a talking bird! They also have a bit of a private beach with loungers you don't need to pay for and towels to dry yourself. Excellent!. The staff were very helpful. My.room was lovely, and right by the pool. It was great being so close to the beach. The excellent dive opportunities. Wasn't very impressed with the bathroom...it was a bit of a damp cave tacked onto the bungalow. letsbookhotel.com charged me a higher price than I would have paid if I'd booked direct. I have now checked other potential bookings and find that this is often the case...sad really as I'd used them for years. The site, good atmosphere, good location. location and dive center at the resort. When we arrived and saw the place - we called letsbookhotel.com and asked them to help us out of this booking. They helped, and we was allowed to cancel the rest of the stay, so we just had to sleep one night in Coral Grand Resort. We found our self a nice resort just few steps away. The place near the beach and bars eestaurants. We had to change rooms as in the first option there was an unbearable odour coming from the toilet and the sewage behind it. The receptionist were very helpful and it turned out fine. Practically no internet in the rooms - and we satyed in two different rooms. Very weak signal. Disappointing. Only internet in reception and restaurant - a bit far. More expensive with letsbookhotel.com!. The bathroom was a bit in need of attention. The basin tap leaked, as did the loo spray, so the floor was always wet. A little run down for the price. Wasn't very impressed with the bathroom...it was a bit of a damp cave tacked onto the bungalow. Booking.com charged me a higher price than I would have paid if I'd booked direct. I have now checked other potential bookings and find that this is often the case...sad really as I'd used them for years. My standard room was small, the AC unit was extremely noisy and old, and generally the room facilities weren't what I expected from the price. You have better options for the money nearby. 70€ per night is overpriced for Thailand. Most of the bungalows are made of wood, with many gaps between the planks and floor, allowing for quite a few insects to get into the room. Not the best quality of bungalows I've seen. Rooms not very modern. Clean but basic. Scruffy reception, very basic, snorkelers most unwelcome. smell of sewage water at beach side, rooms were not allways tidied up properly. to expensive for what you get compared to other resorts in Thailand. The hole resort was old not maintained at all. We ordered the expensive beachfront bungalow. Yes, it was beachfront. We had the backdoor of the restaurant to one side (laud music from 7 morning) and public toilet to the other side. The bungalow was very dirty and used, the bathroom very poor and no tube as mentioned in describtion. Internet very low Bathrooms Restaurant Staff.
