  Zermatt was the first place we visited in Switzerland and it was the best experience we had in Swiss. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the station and we were very tired as we were travelled to Zermatt from Paris and also we had lot of luggage to carry from Station to hotel.   Location is good. Ten minutes walk to the Zermatt Railway Station. Hotel provides free pick-up service. Located at a quiet corner of Zermatt. Seems that every room has a balcony. You can enjoy the view from your balcony while having lunch. Room was big (European Standard) and clean. Eventually, the hotel still honored the reservation which is something unlikely to happen in country. Very im - The hotel is a bit rough at the edges but the room I got was clean and quite comfortable. It is very well located close the the church square and basically in smack middle of everything.   The hotel is a great find and deal in pricey Zermatt. Even though the rooms were sort of "petit" (not a negative for a couple) the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
