The hotel is opposite to the train station, just a couple walk here. The room is pretty, I quite like the decoration. Eventhough we got a share bathroom, it was so private as the bathroom is in front of our room. And seem to be no one else use it. There is a big kitchen which you could cook some food. If you stay here for many days it would be a good option to buy thing from supermarket and cook some food your self. Staff also very nice.
all reviews » was able to stay in a 'dorm' room with 6 beds but had the room to myself. the kitchen was fully equipped, clean, etc. the 50 meters away. With the as restaurant prices at 40-50 SF for lunch, it was handy to have some coffee and meals in the kitchen. There was a very friendly welcome from Franziska the receptionist and she was most helpful during our stay. Hotel was clean, had been modernised, offered a range of different rooms to suit all budgets and was very comfortable. The proximity of the hotel to the zermatt railway station and gornegrat bahn station is a bonus. Dorm facilities were good. The cleanliness of the hotel is worth mentioning. Great place to stay for a limited budget!. Absolutely great hostel. Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you. Accommodations are comfortable and very clean. Location is also very convenient, just on the other side of the train station. The lady on reception is worth her weight in gold ! Smiling, helpful and charming. Very nice kitchen and very clean facility with lots of space. Friendly staff; Absolutely clean; Convenient location;. Location- communal area- kitchen facilities-. It was so clean and staff was so nice. Close to station, plenty of plug sockets in room, hot showers. Only one thing to complain about is the Wifi internet. The signal is not quite good in the room. I have to walk out the room and stay underneath the wifi hotspot in order to get a strong signal. no way to lock the door as you fell asleep. nothing. It would be difficult to fault it. Nothing. If you live in a good room with big balcony, don't take heavy luggage, no lift. But worth it. You can see part of matterhorn. Shower took a little bit long to wait for hot water. Nothing. no kettle inside the room, not enough hot water when shower. Charged 5 Ch Francs to hold luggage. (Liked everything). Lots of beds packed very close together uncomfortable with strangers.
