Hotel had been fully refurbished and was well equipped, excellent decor and very clean. Breakfast was good, which could be taken outside on the verandah. Parking is good - either right outside the hotel or in excellent secure garage about 100m up the road. Parking must be reserved as they only have 5 spaces in the garage and at the hotel. Location was excellent - 5 mins to lake and centre. The hotel not over expensive as it was modern, clean, efficient, with friendly staff and situated close to the railway station.all reviews »

The hotel was centrally located, very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located at the proximity of all points of interest.Staff and cleanliness. Very new hotel (opened only a few months ago). We had the junior suite on the top floor with an excellent view on the lake and surrounding mountains for the price of a normal room. As we are travelling Europe via train, we enjoyed the ease of access from the main train station in Locarno...just a short walk up a very manageable incline. The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable and the breakfast was good...what more do you need?. It was a nice place to stay would go back. In the centre of town. good location for moving around and near train station and lake. The hotel is newly renovated and clean. The location is perfect, short distance from the train station. The cozy balcony with its view on the Lago Maggiore!. No - it was all good.-. petit dejeuner. A little difficult to find. Also the garage was a little tricky to find.However, we made it... Pity that the hotel does not offer any kind of fresh fruit for breakfast.new and basic hotel and we didn´t have any problems or complains. The room could have been a bit larger, but given the space considerations, the designers did very well. A quibble...the quilt was a bit warm...a personal preference and no complaint.no it was good. sometime there was brown water coming out when opening the tap , needed to wait for few seconds. There was once in a while a noise, which was mostly disturbing during the night (air-co or so).

Our bright and welcoming guest rooms are modern and comfortably furnished to ensure a pleasant stay. Most of the rooms are facing south, with balconies that offer a beautiful view of the Gambarogno Mountains and, from the 4th and 5th floors, of Lake Maggiore as well.
As a courtesy to all guests, smoking is not permitted in the rooms. For guests wishing to smoke, we have installed ashtrays and comfortable benches on the balconies.

Locarno can be reached easily in summer as well as in winter via the excellent A2 motorway (Basle-Chiasso), exit Bellinzona-South. It is accessible via Simplon and via Centovalli or from Northern Italy along Lake Maggiore.
