Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice room, a very good and cosy bar and restaurant with delicious food. Dogs welcome. The position in Crans Montana. The hotel provided free transport to and from the ski station. Very nice staff, always there to help. Spacious and well maintained rooms with good view. Confortable beds. Excellent restaurant with chalet atmosphere providing delicious meals. Nice location. They have a useful shuttle bus to the ski lift. This hotel seems very well managed.

During the winter, Crans-Montana offers over 150 km of ski slopes between the village the Plaine-Morte Glacier at an altitude of 3000 metres. Views of the Alps and the valley are exceptional. The cross country ski runs (6 or 12 km) or the golf courses are only 300 metres from the hotel.

In the summer there are many walking paths; along the streams, in the mountains or towards other resorts. The stables offer horse-trekking and the Tennis Centre (300 metres from the hotel) has 5 indoor and 6 outdoor courts.

Travelling information

By Car:
- Leave the motorway A9 in Sierre and follow signs for Crans-Montana.
- After about 14 km and after the hamlet of Montana-Village, in the forest take a right turn to ‘Montana-Moubra-Centre de Pneumologie Valaisan’.
- Follow this road till you leave the forest and at the following round-about take the first right exit and the Hotel Prairie is 200 metres further on.

By Public Transport:
From the cable railway station (2 km away)or the bus station (1.5 km) please take a taxi or call the hotel to pick you up.
