Staff very friendly, clearly a well used family hotel, lots of young children. Reception area very tired looking but room, though small, was clean and recently refurbished. No safe in room. Breakfast OK.

  It was nice and authentic cottage, old, but clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and good place for children (we had 5-year twins girls, 6 and 4 year boys), they could swing and run around.

We were just in transit for trip at Arstrid Lindgrens Varld, which is fantastic by the way, but there is so much more to see and visit in the surroundings. We recommend at least 3 nights to get a feeling of this place. So tranquil and friendly, it feels just like in fairy tales. And of course, host is... what people say » very nice and helpful. If I had to pick just one spot in Sweden, this would be it ! - Nice modern cottage with fully equipped kitchen, IKEA beds and fine bathroom. Good location in beautiful surroundings with lakes nearby. Car necessary. 10 minutes drive to Astrid Lindgrens World. There is no reception so call the owners prior to arrival. This is a self service establishment so be prepared to clean the house upon departure.
