Although they are doing heavy construction on the place, they managed to provide us with a very comfortable stay. The rooms are so clean and well-decorated. The location is very convenient. If you want to go surfing, it is only a twenty minute tuk tuk ride. If you want to enjoy Galle, it is only a ten minute tuk tuk ride. Very good location, awesome and friendly staff. Food is great too!.
all reviews » we had an excellent stay. They upgraded our room for a deluxe room when we told them we were newly wedded. Staff is welcoming. Room with jacuzzi is perfect. I loved the room and bathroom space and décor. But the room I was in, which was superior is going to be upgraded to luxury I was told at the reception. Sad. The food was awesome. It was not a large srpead. But the quality and the taste was good. Friendly staff and ideal location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best resort i everstayed so far with excellent facilities. On the beach but too far out of Galle to be considered a Galle hotel. Room was big, with many sockets. Staff was pleasant. Location. Nothing. I don't have any say on this matter. The place was awesome. Renovations going on, did your site mention this, I am not sure?? But where my room was we were never disturbed by this fact. Sadly sadly there is no beach.no beach no tourist. Its nothing that the hotel could do. But the outcome has effected the hotel. The rooms are small in size. No proper view other than the sea view rooms. the only issue was the wifi, it kept disconnecting every now and then. The fact that there is no longer a beautiful beach right out side the dinning room. Could not connect onto the Wifi. some part of the hotel was still being constructed, so it's a little bit noisy during the day time. They were still finishing last things in the restaurants and they were working on the beach so it was, during the day, not very quiet. But I didn't really mind. Construction work began early even though we had been informed that they were supposed to be finished. Bad wifi. The reception paid no attention to our complaints. Buffet was ok not spectacular. The resort is quite noisy. The food was not to expectation,The bed/linen needs to be more good, i found a bedbug in my bed , i stayed in Room No.402. Massage only for women. No full body massages. Property under renovation and no mention of it. Wi-Fi was too slow, they were still under construction, electric was unstable. Food quality, quality of service in food outlets not up to standard. Room was top rate but, bathroom doors were of the tracks and would not close; curtains ripped, balcony lights could not be switched off at night Overall way signing was substandard, no directions to beach, outlets etc. Food was BAD... Property is under construction you guys should not have put the rooms for sale in first place. rooms could've been more intelligently designed to get a better view of the sea/beach. the beach was not user friendly. food should've been better. It's rooms don't face the beach despite it is in front of it...only the restaurant is beach front....it is small jail and will never go to it again.
