There was nothing we didn't love about this hotel. The location is great, it is quiet, the view is stunning, the food was great. The interior and decoration is just wonderful and tasteful, the bathrooms are newly renovated, they have a lovely garden with sections for every couple so you don't feel like in a croweded place. There are not too many rooms anyway so it feels perfect for relaxing. It is directly at the beach with is not full at all, actually the beach side was empty although it was h.

The bathrooms are big and recently renovated.The staff is well trained, Danath is one of staff who s got a first class style and flair when serving , and a smile that is contagious!!the chef is a gentleman, always suggesting the best meals , taylor made according to preferences and always double checking our satisfaction!! We were there for only 3 days and it was so hard to leave!! Could spend days lying on that hammock outside!! . The sea is literally right at your doorstep, and we loved the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Totally priceless! The service was really excellent too. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much, you couldn't ask for more. The food was great as well, very talented chef. Great breakfast, room service and dinner. No need to ever leave the premises, except maybe for a massage, which was nearby. Staff were fantastic and very helpful, nothing was a problem, very accommodating, always a smile. Meals, no set menu ... basically what every you want they will cook for you, very talented chef. This is terrific boutique accommodation, very peaceful, very clean & tidy, a great place to relax, get lost in a book. Less than $1.50 & 5 mins by tuc-tuc to the village center or a very pleasant walk. Location is excellent. In quiet southern end of the beach but with not so long walk to the more busy backpackers area with nice places to eat as well. The town center is a bit far but for 200 rupees you make a round trip to the town using tuktuk. The design of the hotel is nice and cozy, beach just a footsteps away. Beautiful location. The garden area and bar/ restaurant area opens up directly onto the beach and the pool is shaded and cool. Chef on location will cook on request, slightly limited selection though but if you get your own fish or meat he will cook it to your liking. Perfect place just to chill and relax. With a tuk tuk you are into the main area very soon, so you have the quietness but also restaurants etc. near. Secluded homely feel. Beautiful beach. Colonial building and furniture. Food bit on the pricey side but great though. It rained the entire time we were there, wish the weather would have been more cooperative. However, even that was romantic. Excellent resort, highly recommend. Polished concrete paths are very slippery when wet. In low season things were a bit limited. Only me and other customer and few members of staff were there. Wifi could work everywhere in the hotel area. Now I had to look for it. My hotel room door-handle broke when were there, but the staff were able to sort it our quite quickly. Selection of wine was extremely limited and overpriced, bring your own or drink beer!. Rooms are in a need of little refurbishing, shower was a bit broken, fridge rusting up and a picture missing from the wall and just the nail left there. Careful about steep narrow stairs if staying on 1st floor & paths are made of smooth concrete, very slippery when wet!. Not much really. nothing!. sea which definitely was not calm. the pool location is bad and its size is small. It was perfect. Nothing to adjust. Maybe that the door gets closed early and you have to keep rining the bell to get in. Nothing really... Although we had a nice stay, I think the price is not worth it. The room is ok, but nothing special. Also the swimming pool, which is located between two buildings was a bit of a disappointment. Would be better if is was at the beachside. Would expect a little bit more luxury for the amount you pay. Pool is pretty useless.
