I really liked this place. Excellent value for money and great location. I chose a single room with a shared bathroom and didn't encounter another person using it the whole four days I was there. Very clean and my room had more than I expected in terms of space and TV. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Valencia. Nice place with a good location. Historical part of the city and metro are near by. As well as Turia gardens. In Hostel there is a small kitchen - you can prepare the dinner or warm it. WiFi is working well. Rooms are dry and light. And you could leave your laggage before and after check-out if needed. Good value for money!.
all reviews » The place was in a fantastic location, the place was peaceful and generally clean. The room looked nice, the bed was comfortable. I don't understand why someone would complain about not being able to use the kitchen. it is the peoples's own kitchen! One guy at reception was very nice, the other was a bit quiet. The hôtel was Nice and comfortable. Near the hotel there's the wonderful Mercado colon where you can eat and drink in a too cool location!the hotel is close to the metro stop colon, useful for that need to joint the airport!the train station is 10 minutes walking!. the value for money is great. if you don't want to spend much money on a fancy hotel, but still get a nice place to stay - this is the place. the value for money is great. also the location is good. it is close to the old city. very good wi-fi. I did like my stay and would recommend. The hostel is really really clean. You have also a wardrobe, table, chairs, tv, air conditioning and hairdryer in the room. We were also surprised how silent the other rooms were even though the hostel was full of young people. It has very friendly personnel answering all your questions you need & also showing all the places on the map, pleasant rooms with very good security systems, sparkling clean, perfectly working wi-fi. The room was perfect, be was comfortable, little desk, windows which open out over the street. The location was fantastic, very close to public transport and with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Great location on the edge of Valencias old town. Very close to the Portland Ale House, a superb microbrewery. Room was very clean and enormous. We had booked a twin room with en-suite. Location was really nice, close to the old town. The room was oke and clean. Position. To be honest - nothing!. Breakfast is continental - coffee and croisant. But you could easily have a breakfast in old part of city, which is near by. A bit noisy from the street at the evening. My room was near the common bathroom and the drunked tourists woke me up every nights... the reception works till 20:00, and people come at any time and ring the door bell. it is very annoying to hear the door bell all day long, even at 6:00am or 1:00am. I suggest they shut down the door bell if it is not the reception times. anyway the guests shouldn't go and open the door for people. Not much. As I have light sleep I get disturbed quite easily. The walls and doors are thin, but I suppose it is in the character of the building and therefore don´t really feel like make a negative comment about it. It was quite loud on the street on Thursday till late but again - I´ve travelled a lot around the world and despite this being my first time in Spain, it is not unusual and it is part of the travel experience:). The shower is extremely small, no place where to put a shower gel. I found the staff very brisk and not very friendly. As my room was right next to reception I heard the loud buzzer at all hours of the night. The place has a full kitchen, but I was advised by the receptionist that its not for guests, which I found disappointing. No parking, if travelling by car you'll struggle to get a spot. Quite noisy. Rooms are not cleaned, we had to put our rubbish bag outside the room after 3 days. Limited hours of the reception, small shower cabin. The door to our room couldn't be closed unless locked. Was a bit far out town for me. Nothing. All good. Streetnoise coming from the nearby pubs. We stayed at room 205, which was on the 2nd level, and it was a Friday. No tv. one of the rooms had a shared bathroom which was quite bugging. pictures on internet misleading. had to walk to a cafe for breakfast coupons which is bugging in the morning. Bed&Breakfast needs to be a breakfast in bed not a walk in the rain to a square market. we booked 2rooms and each on different floor. if theres a difference in category, the same chould have been made clear at booking. the discconect between friends rooms bad. no hot water in shower. The breakfast costs only e3,50 and is offered in a restaurant nearby. However, you get only one croissant or toasted bread. It wasn't satisfying. The second day we decided to look for a restaurant ourselves and we ended up in 'La Petite Brioche', even more close to the hotel and is highly recommendable. - Difficult to find a parking place - Hotel is hard to find. Quite noisy location, Airco was little effective No glasses or cups in room or even in bathroom. There was no good explanation about the parking on the web site. Here is the situation if you go by car: There are payed parkings nearby but they are quite expensive 2.1€/hour with max ot 19€. One can always use them if needed but the blue parking zone on the streets nearby is much cheaper 1.45€ for 2 hours and it is free between 8pm and 9am. It is easy to find parking space in the blue parking area in the evenings.Breakfast facilities are not attached to the hotel. Hostel-like.a little noisy. The day staff- really nice and helpful. The night staff- very unfriendly person, didn't even try to understand my question in broken Spanish, spoke no English. When I tried to use kitchen facility he screamed on in Spanish and kicked me out from the kitchen. There are no glasses in the room, no shampoo as in even much cheaper hotels. The towels were old and smelled horrible. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. You have to pay a fine (10 - 20 euros) when arriving later than 20:00 hr! The private bathroom is inconvienient outside the room. The location is not in the middle of the centre. There was nobody of the hostel present. Dirty room, no cleaning service after the first night (the last but the worst!).
