This hotel is situated in the district of Santa Cruz, only 150 metres from the Cathedral, la Giralda, el Alcázar and the Archivo de Indias.
The hotel has been renovated from an old mansion palace dating from the 17th century and is located in an emblematic area of the historic centre of Seville. Rooms are pleasant and comfortable and are arranged around a typical Andalucian patio adorned with carved wooden artefacts and traditional ceramic artistry. In the restaurant Don Melquiades you can sample homemade Andalucian cuisine and Sevillan tapas.
This is a perfect setting from which to visit the Andalucian capital on foot and to easily get to other interesting points in the city via public transport.

Very historical athmosphere, just what I like in old town, really pittoresk, old modern and charming. Beautiful hotel, very good staff. We really liked the decor, especially in the second floor courtyard. But the entire facility had a lot of interesting period decorations, furniture, and photographs to appreciate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cosmetics in the bathroom also was a nice touch. all reviews »
Superb location at the city center. Hot shower and A/C at the room. Very nice andalusian decor at the lobby/hall. Good value for the money. Wonderful common area decor and interesting history. Ideal location and very helpful staff. Basic but sufficient rooms. Friendly and helpfull staff, quiet location, comfortable, close to the historic centre; comfy, cool lobby. The receptionist who worked also as the bartender/waiter also parked our car and got it out upon check out. Very friendly. The location was absolutely perfect - close to everything. We used the sunny indoor patio. Seems to be more personal. Reception staff very helpful.room cleaner polite.Just remember your seeing Sevilla , not touring the Hotel.Location perfect, staff very helpful. Close to Bar Estrella - superb tapas. Lovely spacious public areas, simple basic rooms. Great location very atmospheric hotel, loved it. great staff, good feeling !. It was quiet and close to the city center. Good location and friendly staff. The hotel is very charming with a rustic look. There is a courtyard on the first floor where the rooms branch out. Will stay at this location again. location in city centre. Great location, only 5 minutes from Cathedral. Family run hotel with helpful staff. Retains many original/period features. Rooms were kept spotless by daily maid service. Room had effective air con. Nice courtyard on 1st floor for relaxing. The Hotel also provides a better city centre map than the Sevilla Tourist Office! Would stay there again. Good location and nice atmosphere. Good location. Hotel was ok not really easy to find as are most hotels in old Seville so this is not a negative comment, close to all the sights and a mere 10 min walk to Alcazar .. unless you get lost :-) see above comment Staff were pleasant although only one really spoke good English. The rest were helpful, trying to ring though and speaking ENglish was a problem. Location in the heart of the old town, pretty courtyard common areas, availability of 3-person room. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the room was good value for money.Friendle staff and good location. Clean room. Location. I like its location right in the middle of the beautiful historic area and its proximity to the sites of interest to visit like the Cathedral, the Alcazar a.s.o.... Parking was difficult, but not impossible (with a lot of help from thestaff. Don't rely on googlemaps for directions to the hotel. Our room was a bit small. Our room was very small. No lift, so there is some luggage lugging involved, generally the case in historic buildings - not a problem if u can manage it or ask if need help, i'm sure can get assistance. We did not expect a fancy room for the price but it still was surprisingly very small. Bathroom was very small too. Towels were rough. But everything was clean.Difficult to find but what do you expect in the old centre of Sevilla?. our room was at the 3rd floor, there was no elevator, every time you went to your room you arrived exhausted. Room was small and basic with limited storage/hanging space. The ensuite was small with washbasin overhanging the toilet bowl. View from window was of a wall and next doors window - part of being in the Santa Cruz barrio. But it was OK for us as we don't spend much time in our room. Also, the continental breakfast was basic, although typical for Spain. Difficult to park the car. The common areas of the hotel were very attractive and pleasant, but the room was small and basic and in need of re-decoration. The room was also a bit noisy since it was next to common areas that people passed through late into the evening/night. The hot water in the shower took ages to work, and the only heating in the room was through the air-conditioning unit.Room was very small for the price - a tiny twin room for 64 euros. Beds are hard I mean croncrete slab hard.Hotel far too expensive for the very tiny room we had overlooking out a 2 square meters yard i.e. wall in front and on the sides, poor bed quality, old furniture, paint going away on the walls, the room would need to be refurbished. Rooms extremely small, not so clean, they tried to create a kind ofsevillian atmosphere but this is a youth hostal, if you are over 22y donot go there, there are plenty of other hotels much better for the sameprice, do not repeat our mistake!! The city is quite small so don'tthink you'll be far away from the city center!!.
