Irenaz resort was located on the edge of a beautiful green valley that was so relaxing. There was often music traveling up from somewhere on the mountain and it made us really feel like we were in Europe. The location is a bit out of San seb city but the bus stop is 100metres down the road and for 1.60 euro takes you 11-15 minutes to get into town. The staff were really lovely and helpful with everything from beaches, San Fermin and resturants. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the bathroo.
all reviews » The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company. Beautiful mountain views from the rooms. Huge terrace, where you can drink coffee. In room coffee machine Nespresso. The spacious apartments are decorated in a contemporary style. The kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to live in a noisy centre of San Sebastián and has a car for travel. Note that not all the rooms have a kitchen. Location, 10 minutes from center of san Sebastian. Modern, clean and good service. The apartments were modern, clean and had good facilities on site. Surf. As mentioned the location is a little out of San Sebastián city. But if you want to see a bit of the Basque Country then it shouldn't be a problem :). A little thing, but no shampoo was provided on the first night we booked in. It appeared the second day but then there were no replacement for the third day. In the room a lot of dust and its poorly cleaned. only the airco system was not how it coudl have been. You need a car to get to and from the appartment . Not that that is bad... just something to be aware of. Didn't like the fact that we had to travel 20 minutes by public transport to get to the city. Also the bus frequency wasn't great. So it would take us 30 minutes or more to get to town. Breakfast is below expectation. Needed more seating in the living area and on balcony, Too far out of the centre of town taxis ranged from just under 10 euros to almost 17! although this has nothing to do with the actual apartment. Little hard to find but we got lucky. Situation is a little bit out of the way if you don't have a car. Taxis are efficient but expensive. public busses finish quite early. The lack of air conditioning, and things like just a single dishwasher tablet and no washing powder or dish washing liquid. If you could also keep a little salt and pepper. Located about 15 minutes by car from the centre (although beses and taxis available). No bars, cafes or restaurants close by and not in walking distance to anything. Rather expensive!. The hotel is situated 15 min drive from the center of San Sebastian. The drying machine in the room does not dry properly. An expensive hotel. too far from the beach, and pretty much everything. Calling this a resort is a Lie !!!.
