This was one of the nicest hotels we´ve stayed at in years! Very cool, sophisticated room in a fantastic location at a great price. How can you beat that?. At time of booking £40 per person per night which was excellent value for money for a very comfortable hotel with an excellent loactaion and helpful staff. very nice place... the room are great so full of space... then i like the stile... everything was perfect..also location....very central.

We have booked to stay in a 'sister' hotel in Salamanca in September. Location! right near the shopping and a short walk from the beach. this hotel in the centre of malaga is excellent in every respect. everything. and in particular the ensuite jacuzzi in the bath. great hotel breakfast and free internet with laptop in room. The wirlpool/jacuzzi bath controls did not work despite being reported no one attended to find out the reason. Lack of evening restaurant and Bar. Choice of food locally was terrible and all our party were dissapointed with restaurants locally. We tried many. The hotel was best part of stay. Very difficult to find. Car parking a problem. lack of parking. Acess is on foot from nearest parking point .. some advance suggestionsfor parking would be good. A very minor point, but the toothpaste supplied by the hotel was horrible! Also, staff were very efficient and helpful, but not particularly warm or friendly e.g. no smile on welcoming to the hotel or at breakfast.Very small Elevator with steps to reach it, wireless connection justin the lopy. Staff bit cool, comparing to other horels. shower did not work in the morning, no compensation offered. I left my plug adaptor in the room. Is the any chance of them posting it on to me?. The breakfast wasn't good - if I stayed again I'd use a local bar instead, there are dozens close by. You can't drive to the hotel, and parking in an underground car-park in Malaga adds €20 to your overnight costs. You have to finish your journey on foot anyway - even taxis can't get to the door as it's in a pedestrian zone. Decor wouldn't be to everyone's taste - very minimal and stark colours.hot drink facility (coffee) in bedroom would be nice. No tea/coffee facilities or room service. Hard to find as in pedestrian area and taxi driver couldn't get us close to hotel.Kind of hard to find. it wasnt well signposted. the mattress!. There is nothing outside the hotel, not even a plaque, to indicate that it is a hotel. It was very difficult to find, particularly as taxis cannot get near the front door (it is in a pedestrianised area). It would have been helpful to know this in advance. Also when i arrived (during a dull afternoon) there were no lights on in the public area, which made the building look deserted. We had a twin room and the mattresses on the bases kept moving .... a little annoying when there for a romantic weekend. Noise around hotel -- absolutely unbearable. Construction started at 6am every morning on the buildings surrounding the hotel, continued until at least 9 and it was impossible to sleep. the taxi driver dropped us at the palace hotel, not too well known with taxi workers. It would have been nice to have a lounge area in which to sit and relax after walking around the city and whilst waiting for friends to arrive or return . Also a couple of easy/comfortable chairs in the room would have been nice.
