Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! all reviews » I had booked two individual nights, and could easily swop them for the same room, and the very kind lady at reception just charged me very little extra for the more expensive 2nd room. I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!. Very close to the train station, which was a must, as we had to reach the airport the next morning. Close to city centre as well - only a 15 min walk through safe streets. Very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Decent coffee lounge to relax with friends and have a cuppa. All in all, ideal for a short stay, at the end of a tour of Andalusia. With in easy reach of station and walking distance to all attractions room.spotlessly clean,bathroom immaculate. We left our passports in a draw here and the management were very helpful in getting them back to us would definitely stay again. If you fly into Malaga and don't plan on having a rental car, this hotel is the perfect location to getting to/from the airport and walking distance to the old part of town, while still being quick and easy to get on the train to go to the resort towns and to the beach. The hotel is a basic hotel, located about 1-2 blocks from the train. It is very clean, and I was somewhat pleasantly surprised that given the fact it's in the area around the central train station - it is not the same sort of. The Pension is excellently located, only a few minutes from both rail stations (on the airport line and for Renfe) and located 10-15 minutes away from the main sights and restaurants. It suited me for location ,but would not like to stay here longer than on night. Nothing really. Plumbing was occasionally a bit noisy but other than that no complaints for the price. It's quite far from the historical center, if you're in Malaga for that matter. Difficulty to communicate (staff don't speak English and I don't speak Spanish). Room window faces a small inner court where bed sheet were hung for drying. We had a very hard time trying to find the hotel. balcony overlooked the sheets hanging out to dry in the inner courtyard. No breakfast. And I searched the pension a lot, because I didn't know, that the street is crossed by another street and continues on the other side. Nothing. Being on a main road meant that it was very noisy. having to ring bell from outside late at night......but was always answered promptly. the staff did not know anything about booking a shuttle bus to the airport despite the sign on the wall behind them stating that they offered the service. Coffee machine and small coffee for 1 Euro. Though I don't necessarily travel to watch TV...after being out all day walking around and exploring, it's nice to watch TV while relaxing...and there is not one single English language (or any other language besides Spanish that I noticed) channel on the TV. I know...not a deal breaker...but it would have been nice to have something to watch. The balcony door did not lock. Soft bed. You have to ring a bell to get in. The air conditioning system was right above my bed, so we couldn't use it because it blew cold air so strongly. Hence the room was really hot at night and it was difficult to sleep. We had a balcony, but the view was really dark and gloomy, facing a wall (other windows, trash bags). All in all I think it was really overpriced compared to other Malaga hotels considering the level of comfort/facilities. Overpriced while we were staying there (holy week). A lot of noise from the street, pretty much all night. The door to our balcony did not shut properly, which exacerbated the problem. Noise - got woken up at 4am when the bins were emptied. Room windows were not doubled glazed and faced the main road. Was in room 15. There is a bar downstairs, very noise until the midnight, I couldn't fall asleep until two or 3 o'clock. Hard to find,.
