The service was great and I was pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with terrace even though I had booked a fairly economic room just because they like upgrading their guests when the better rooms are free. I didn't eat breakfast there, so I can't really give an opinion about it. The hotel is really good for the price, you get a lot of bang for the buck. It's comfortable, well equipped, and pretty central, just 100 meters from Plaza de Cibeles, the metro, and the airport e.

Huge suite with every comfort you need: Kitchen with Lavazza Coffee machine, living room with large flat TV, huge bath with bathtub, huge comfy bed with an array of pillows. Good location (on foot 7min from the Via Grande, 10 min from El Prado and 3 min from the Bus Station 'Bus Express' to the airport. Would definitly go back. Nespresso Machine in the breakfast room. Fingerprint reader to enter the appartment: no badge you could loose or misplace. Free WiFi!. The size of the rooms were HUGE! We had plenty of space for the group of girlfriends who were traveling to Madrid for the night. The location was great... we wanted to stay close to the park but also close to the city. We walked from the train station (which wasn't too far, but those of us with backpacks had it easier) and then walked to all of the major sights in Madrid from the hotel. We rented the unit for 5 persons (can be up to 7 people), the apartment is huge, beds are Superb and large, fully equipped with modern equipment (LCD'S, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator, etc.). Clean and tidy, location reasonably convenient. Price Excellent for compensation (about 200 €) per night. We stayed here on a 3 night break for our wedding anniversary. Overall the place is excellent and we will definitely go back. It's in the perfect location with outstanding staff who are obliging and very helpful. Access to and from the airport couldn't be easier and the metro is right outside. We will definitely return. The suite was beautiful, spacious, Up-to-date and flexible. The kitchen was big and it included dinnerware, washing machine and a dishwasher. The location is perfect, near points of interest and metro stations and bus stops. The location was amazing, the apartment was extremely spacious and well designed, the buffet breakfast with roof terrace was fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful. The generous size of the suites made the stay very pleasant. The property is centrally located and the facility is well maintained and staffed. Will stay there again!. I don't recall disliking anything about the hotel. If I really had to find someting: selection of bread and quality of jam for breakfast could be a litte better, but was OK. Only an advisory point but it stated that there would be a coffee machine and coffee in the room but there wasn't. It would be nice to have tea and coffee available in the rooms. The terrase is somewhat small but still with great views over the Cibeles.. Room 402's shower pressure and wi-fi signals were weak. The guests on the upper floor were really noisy until late at night. We had to go and call the reception but the situation didn't changed. I would recommend the hotel to use carpets instead of wooden floors to decrease the noise. Only one thing needs improving to make this place perfect. The showers have very low water pressure and not abundant with hot water. This does need some attention as you would not expect this in such a high quality place. Not enough hot water our room on 7th floor had low ceilings. My room located on the 1st floor was a bit noisy but nothing dramatical. Nothing. There are no Russian channelst on TV. We stayed here last year and there seems to be a big change. Our room was very bare. The plant pots stood empty (all 4), No pictures on the walls. The lobby is not inviting. We asked for kits/sweets for the kids that we received last year and were ignored. We asked for tablets for the coffee machine (we got only decaffeinated in the room for a 2 night stay) and were asked to pay a Euro for each tablet. Overall we were disappointed this year. Poor water pressure. The air condition was bad, the stairs in the suit was very dangerous my kids fell many times with bruise in there legs, one elevator was slow. none. Nothing. Internet was not that good at my room fast at some areas and some other not. Weak WiFi signal, hard to find,. Not to close from market or grocery store. Booked a. 2 bathroom unit but only got one. Leak in kitchen. MSG smell. Could not adjust AC below a certain temperature. Bathroom had some items that should not be there, it seems that cleaning lady forgot to take them after cleaning the room. Plumbing problems with both toilets. Location on a very busy street, made most of the suites noisy. We found one of the receptionists/staff to be very unfriendly/unhelpful. The staffneeds customer care training. We have numerous exampes over the 5 days.
