Internet free. Tv with news, music in room; local and English papers in foyer; a verygood selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. But above all elsethe excellent central position of the hotel, just a few metres from thePuerta del Sol Metro.We enjoyed the location: right next to Puerta del Sol and the metro station. Most of all the location just by "puerta del sol". location,good rooms,comfortable and modern. The staff were extremely helpfull with internet,transport, goodrestaurants. It was central and within walking distance to restaurants and night life. The room and shower were really lovely and the location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything and the metro is a only a few steps away.The location and the computers in the rooms and a very pleasant large deck overlooking the bustling shopping boulevard below. Perfect location (quite loud, though!). Wi-fi.Location was brillant and right beside metro. The bathroom door is see through and we didn't want to be seen nor heard by the rest of the people in the room. the street was noisy at night mainly on W/E. and midnight garbage trucks were added aggravation. Only a minor issue, the tv reception was very poor, but we hardly hadthe time to watch anyway. I liked hotel . I paid more by booking through a 3rd party internet site than through the hotel site. Bathroom door was a bit wierd, frosted and a big window you could see in through!!. Thin walls. A bit loud.Why no bar facilities. We had to find somewhere to have a drink and asocial get together. ????. A bidet would have been handy and saved water!. The Hotel is very very close to Puerta del Sol, and of course you hear noise in the room coming from the street. yes the room was not completley renovated the styling was not complete I was in Petite palace in Barcelona and the room was much nicer not enough value for money this time, the pictures on your site were much nicer than the reality. Next time i come to Spain I will have to think about choosing petit palace and thats a shame because all the rest is exellent. Too noisy at night. very much noise from outside but also from inside. Poor sound isolation.everything was ok but many things were missing - a chair in the room, we asked for an extra blanket and never received it, no pictures on the wall, all the little things which make you feel comfy. we paid an Outrageous amount of 150 euro per night, and this hotel does not worth more than 90 euro maximum as it is indeed very simple. The outside/street noise was unbearable and went on all night. It was impossible to sleep. There seemed to be a problem with the hotel plumbing as there was a constant smell or should I say stink.Worst we have ever stayed. No sound isolation in the rooms. Staff was indifferent to the problems. Well.......1st there was 2 dirty mens socks laying on the floor of one of the rooms, 2nd-when I went to complain about this, the lady at reception was rude and very unhelpful. 3rd-room 2 was a disabled room with a sink about 1meter high, and when a guest is 5 foot 10, it is pretty impossible to use and even I, at 5 foot 2 found it very difficult to use!! 4th-the cleaning lady was very very noisy.The room was gloomy. The unventalated bathroom meant that there was a musty smell in the room and the floor flooded after every shower. The shower curtain was annoying. The bed was uncomfortable. The hotel was advertised as being Hi-Tech, it wasn´t. The room was shabby and needed redecorating. Overall very disapointing. I would certainly not stay in any of these hotels again.
