Excellent excellent value! The Cuban man running the place is very friendly and helpful, interesting to talk to in general if you can speak some Spanish. In a great location with lots of bars, tapas shops, short walk to all the major attractions. Simple, but very very clean and neat. Would highly recommend fir a young couple or any budget travellers.

Room for three persons has no free space at all, but there is refrigerator.

Great location, only 2 stops on the metro away from the centre of
Madrid. It was great to be helped to get used to the metro by passers
by. Great bars and cafés with lovely squares in this area.
Booked late when missed my onward bus. 19 euros for a double room which was clean, spacious and hostal easy to find. Would recommend for anyone needing a good nights sleep in central Madrid.

there is no kitchen, which is really bothering, you have no place to prepare the food or eat it, neither to store it, in our room was no fridge
there is also no common room, so you will not meet other guests, which is something i normally like about hostels, that you can meet new interesting people, but not here.
Room extremely small, very noisy at the weekend (we couldn't sleep one entire night because of partying nearby), old furniture and facilities.
Everything else. It was horrible, very expensive for what they offer. I think its the worst room I have stayied in europe.
