Located on the famous Gran Vía, this comfortable hostel offers colourful air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception. It is located 100 metres from Santo Domingo Metro Station, and 3 minutes’ walk from Plaza España Metro Station. MuchoMadrid offers double, triple and quadruple rooms which are heated and bright. They have a desk, a free locker for each guest and access to a shared bathroom with shower. Some rooms have balconies and windows overlooking Gran Vía. Towels are provided. The hostel has a dining room serving a buffet breakfast, and there is also a communal kitchen equipped with microwave, toaster and fridge. Guests can relax in the TV lounge or use the computer with free internet connection. All common areas and rooms are air conditioned. MuchoMadrid is ideally located in the centre, within a short walk from bars, restaurants, shops and the main sites. It is just 10 minutes’ walk from the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol, Madrid’s main square. Parking at a nearby location can be organised on request at an additional cost. The property also offers an airport shuttle service, on request and subject to availability.

Absolut friendly and helpfull staff, quiet at night (considering the most important road far below - and as it is considerably small, well controlled), perfectly situated in the real heart of the City - E.G. 2 steps from Lion King. Well kept - and with a hard to beat cost/performance level. Don't expect high luxury - but get a cosy place that has all it needs. This is a small hostel high up in an old building. It's in a great location and is perfect for friends or a couple to use as a base for seeing Madrid. The staff was awesome. Totally awesome. The hostel is a bit run down and in need of a bit of work. Hopefully the owners take care of that soon. Smaller than what the website implies.
