I am so glad to say that everything about this central accomodation is absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I arrived on a Thursday evening by Metro, and after some time fumbling around in the Gran Via area we found this gate (number 50) right next to Geox shoe store. Straight up to 5th floor and we were greeted by a young gentleman (Ulises) to room 1 overlooking a fantastic view of the Gran Via. The shower (room 10) was badly designed...the shower curtain hangs on the inside of a glass tile wall which means you lose about 10 inches of valuable shower space...The pillows were not very good either. Remember it is a hostel and that's really what it is. Nothing special. Bathroom very small, but serviceable. Hall noises carry to room. N/A. Nothing. The sink in the bathroom too small. We didn't like the breakfast at the bar. Nothing unpleasant. Nothing. Don't be suprised by the strange entrance and the tiny elevator. Also, the location in the city center may be associated with some noise early in the morning. A bit noisy in the street during weekend nights. Having to say "Adio's" on our departure day!. Nothing in particular. From the street the entrance seemed a bit daunting. room is bathroom a bit small but expected. Nothing not to like. Everything was great!.
