Location. Location was fantastic - very central, close to metro and easy to find. very nice staff, hard to find--there are two or three anton martin underground exits, the correct one has a burger king right in front of you when you exit and then the street is to the left of bk. Good location and clean, very good within its pricerange. very close to metro station and just 10 minutes away from atocha train station. the room is also very clean, and bathroom is well maintained. owner also very friendly. the reason we stayed there was as a stop over, prior taking the train the next morning to andalucia. all reviews »
The owner of the hotel is extremely nice and explains everything youneed ot know , including where to go in the area. Good location: near center, near metro, 10 minutes to railway station.

No breakfast on sundays. The room is a bit small, but certaintly sufficient. 1. Hot water was shared by several rooms. So if your neighbours spent more time in shower, you'll be out of hot water. It takes some time to heating it again.
2. Thin walls.very weak breakfast. the breakfast (1 x coffee, juice, croissant) was bit light. The room and the bathroom were very small. The weather was pretty bad in Madrid, and the room was awfully cold, with no heating system. Other than that, I would readily recommend the hostal for any warmer season.It may be that there was a temporary technical hitch but the wireless internet was not operation our entire stay... and that was one of the reasons we chose the hostel. tiny rooms, some without window open on outside, or very small. Trying to have breakfast before 8:30 am does not guarantee results. I have got the room different from the one I ordered.The room didn't have the window at all. I couldn't sleep at night, because the room was situated too close to the entrance of the hotel, and during the nights people went in and out.No window, room just next to gate. The key system and the noise from the next room.for price standard was low. I was given a room of a poorer quality than offered in the reservation. After some confrontation with the landlady, I was given the difference (20 euros) back. The receipt was given unvillingly.everything, dirty and bad service, teh worst i´ve never been.

We have 10 rooms in total -singles, doubles or triples. All of them are high standard, comfortable, quiet rooms with or without en-suite. All the rooms are unsophisticatedly but carefully decorated. All rooms have direct exterior ventilation, a large, quiet and always pleasant courtyard. The building is equipped with an elevator.
Some of the rooms have baths and others showers. Some of the rooms have balconies.
