We only stayed one night but it really was wonderful. We checked out early the next morning because we went to see the Alhambra and they stored our bags for us all day as we weren't leaving until late that night. Was a really funky hostel, bright colours and the kitchen facilities were great. Would definitely stay here again!. What hostels should be! Clean spacious dorm rooms, nice common area and kitchen and friendly staff. They are located in the old city, you can not drive up to it, it's about 500 m from Plaza Villa Nueva where cabs can drop you off. There is motorcycle parking in the plaza for biker types like me.
all reviews » Everything!! The staff helped us with useful information about the city and how to get to the bus station to move to our next destination. The Hostel is really beautiful, happily designed, comfortable and our views were stunning: we could see the Alhambra from our bed. Second time we stayed at this hostel as it is so central, clean, attractive, good value and you can get comfortable small dorms and private rooms. Staff all very friendly and helpful with information on the area. Good communal areas and cooking area too. Location was great and it was easy to find. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. Free towel ($5 deposit that you get back when you hand it in). Use of kitchen facilities and lots of information on what to do in Granada. Very nice hostel with a great courtyard which functions as a living room. Friendly staff and a nice room with a comfortable bed. At the same time, the street is very quiet and still easy to reach. I liked the staff, always helpful and smiling. The hostel is very clean with comfortable living room and organized kitchen. You need to know that the place cannot be reached by car and that the parking lot (~16 euros per night) is rather expensive and far. I would advise not to arrive by car... not very near from the bus stop. (but not far). The breakfast is not very flexible: they will serve you a tray with a certain range of items, no free choice. In very specific places at the ground floor (such as where my bed was) there would be a strange smell, seems they have some sewage problems. No faults whatsoever. Needed more bedding, My friend and i had to share a bed as they got our reservation wrong , but no extra blankets , cold at night . No parking place near hostel available - we prayed for one. Fortunately it was Sunday so God heared our prays and organize some space not far away from the hostel. Thank You, Lord!. Noise from street and plaza. They didn't organize much for the travelers to do. For example, there was a pub crawl and the staff didn't know the details. Then one person did know the details and sent us to the wrong place. Other than this, I had a great experience. No air conditioning in rooms makes for hot sleeping in rooms on top floors. No elevator, almost no wifi, too cold.
