  Having booked here in the countryside we were a bit unsure what the facilities would be like We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel Situated in a tiny villageby a fast flowing stream where fishing was possible it is an ideal base for touring the beatiful countryside The hotel itself was comfortable clean with all modern facilitie... what people say » s including a lift lounge area with bar a large dining/breakfast room with very good food and helpful staff Wiil definitely return when in the area - The dining room was a little lacking in character but the hotel was otherwise lovely. The setting was marvellous and as a base for walking or as a place to chill out and read it was ideal. We were only passing through but had a thoroughly relaxing overnight stop.
