  We went away as a short break Sat until Tue 17/12/13 as celebrating my 50th Birthday & Marrying my wife on the same day. The hotel is fantastic & staff are great, the food & presentation was out of this world & we were made to feel very welcome. When we arrived we were given Champers while we were in reception & then - The location is just perfect being right on the marina with lots of bars and restaurants. Food choice and quality was excellent with something for everybody. Breakfasts were particularly good with everything from muesli to a full English including lots of fresh fruit and freshly baked breads of every description. During our stay our fellow guests were on the whole the 'mature' variety and the evening entertainment suited that age group perfectly and suited us as well. Staff were very friendly

  The standard was excellent. We booked a Studio but were upgraded to a Suite on arrival. The staff were extremely courteous and professional. The rooms were decorated to a high standard, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linen beautifully white and clean. Very comfortable suite, a pity to leave to go out! Roms overlooked the pool with good... what people say » outside terrace space. Electric blinds at the windows added a touch of luxury. Overall, fantastic stay, extremely clean, would definitely go back! - We liked the quality of hotel, everything is new and mordern, spacious rooms, close to the very nice (it seems to me that only local people knew and visited it) beach, children friendly environment, nice pool, possibility to park your car at any time (only 5 euro per day), calm and peaceful surroundings.

  All the staff worked really hard to make our week great, we arrived early but reception staff were really helpful looked after our bags and pointed us in the direction of the bar! Room was great, both room and bathroom were nice and large, plenty of space for all of us. Great variety of buffet food at all meals a - The complex was spotless clean and very close to the beach. We liked that after the bar closed at 11.30 the lights went off at 12 and the place was very quite great for a good nights sleep. The hotels clientele was mostly French which we found to be very friendly and we found that like us they clean up after themselves and don't leave glasses around the pool for other people to pick up.We were only there on a 3 night stay and we had a great time and found the all inclusive to be great value

  Apartamentos Don Gustavo are excellent apartments situated ideally for Benalmadena Marina, transport links and the town of Arroyo de la Miel. Reception and services of the agent were outrstanding. Two beroom appartments are very suitable for a small family. I would highly recommend them - clean and very good situation

  The Balmoral was one of the best value hotels we have ever stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a lovely balcony and great sea,mountain and pool views.   i liked the appearance of the hotel i.e. it is a pretty hotel with a lot of c haracter, which is welcome change to the norm. The views are lovely from the terrace, and the pool area is never overcrowded (plenty of sunbeds for everyone). This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and would have no hesitation in staying again. Well-deserved... what people say » 4 star.
