There are two pools, SUN Deck and WET Deck, which are surrounded by decking with loungers. The hotel also has direct beach access. Facilities at the Bliss Spa include a hot tub, sauna and steam room, and a brand new relaxation area, GETAWAY, is available from 2018. A wide range of relaxation and beauty treatments is available. The W is 20 minutes’ walk from Barceloneta Metro Station, and buses stop outside the hotel.

The vibe of the foyer area was like a cool nightclub in the evenings with dark mood lighting - very trendy. To say there was clubbing music streamed in the foyer which you could hear on all levels of walk-way, the bedrooms were sound-proofed really well. The upstairs bar has amazing views. Breakfast was great value and lots of choice, nice and fresh. Room service was really quick and excellent staff attention.

The airport lost our luggage because of a strike - The W hotel did everything to make us feel comfortable nothing was too much trouble we had 2 drinks for free in the bar. Were upgraded from Wonderful to Fabulous room, which was much appreciated as view is vastly better. Wave Restaurant is excellent, and Souad is an excellent hostess. A most enjoyable stay. It is worth stating it is the best hotel I have stayed at. From the very entrance you feel stylish and friendly atmosphere in the air. I enjoyed every second and every square centimeter being there. From now on if Barcelona, then only W. I am coming back there in May. This hotel is really really really superiorly great. Fully equipped gym, large breakfast options. Clean and comfy. Our rooms were not ready yet, as the Barcelona Team was holding 2 floors till 19:00. So we got an upgrade to the Extreme Wow Suite! 295 m2 4 room appartement on the 25th floor! Amazing room. Get the metro out to Gracia and wander round the real Barcelona. the view is magnificent from the higher floors with wide window. the staff are verey co-op and gents. the place is good and you can find many restaurants at the beach under the reception. you can rent byecle from the hotel. The staff was amazing, the breakfast buffet--paid for in advance--was very good and the staff was accommodating. And, in the case of Barcelona, the location was superior. The workout facilities were also very nice. The huge influx of young well educated/informed made our life much easier. I stayed there a few times and its worth of highest rate. The location is right on the beach, the staff is friednly, a few restaurants with great cuisune. Location!, nice breakfast, perfect view, it was well party of HeadCandy at wet bar, and wet bar is also good for evening lounge... A lot of restorants at the building looks to the seeshor. Everything was perfect. rooms were quite nice. location view design. The washroom is integral to the bedroom with a curtain you can pull across for privacy and the toilet is behind a glass screen so I would prefer more bathroom privacy. The main lobby seemed a bit tired and did not go with the sleekness of the rest of the hotel - ofcourse this did not in any way impact my stay. Complimentary internet only available in main lobby. There was a delay in locating our car keys at departure. Location on seafront is quite removed from Barri Gothic, Passeig de Gracia, and Las Ramblas. However, nearby cableway provides easy access to Montjuic sights. Cleaning service is to be controlled properly. You may be close to the beach but anything else needs a well calculated walking distance. DO NOT BLAME THE PRICE, its obviously not made to all levels of people. That we could not stay longer!. The Ramblas area is very touristy now- all shops selling same ware - Barca football shirts and Gaudi lizards and flamenco dolls, and restaurants selling paella. The unique restaurants have moved away from this area so go out and explore. to much crowded for the disco and the parties. 5 Stars hotel with no free wi-fi in room???!!!!. The pricing for supplemental items were a bit out of line. And the fact that some bottles of water in the room were complimentary and other identical ones were not I found to be a bit tricky. Also, Parking was too expensive for hotel guests. At these rates, this seemed unnecessary. The hotel hosts a pool side party once a week so for those with rooms on the pool side on lower floors, it won't be good. The lobby is a bit loud too but it wasn't that bad. I still slept well and had no issue with music. The service around pool area is slow but that's because it's always busy. I still got served in time. No bidet in the room's bath, free wifi only in a lobby, not enough water in the minibar. I did not like the idea of having to pay to use the T.V and music channels. I think they should have some limited channels that are fee but maybe charge for films.Also the breakfast was very expensive at 30 euros (I only eat meusli and fruit at breakfast)..so I only ate there once. Mineral water is 4.5euros and every step you make, there's a price tag.. Foul smell from the shower. For the price of the hotel, I feel like parking and wifi should have been free. It's a bit absurd to ask guests to pay 19€ for 24 hours of wifi!. The hotel is noisy and the music heard in rooms. The night after a party, some bottles left in the corridors was poor image to the hotel. Was expensive. The location is not good. It is necessary to rent a car if you live there. Location is not good actually when we stay in the hotel. However, in summer time, it would be much better to stay and spend time near the beach. To pay for wifi. No coffee in room. No toast for breakfast. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Very expensive meals & drinks. Poorly stocked top shelf. Watered down spirits or short served shots in 1st floor bar? Location to the city & tour buses. The Bravo restaurant. Administrative (Check-in) staff not very friendly. Paying for WI-FI having spent enough to stay at the hotel. Breakfast is somewhat expensive. It's good, but I'd expect a bit more for 30 euro'S. The distance to the city is quite far and there's no metro connection nearby. We rented bikes!. wifi not free in rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful but very slow at bringing your order. My room did not have a bath. However, the shower was great. The front desk is very slow and you always see long ques in the front desk. very expensive but you get what you pay for I guess. Nothing. No commnets. No coffee machine in the rooms Breakfast needs some improvements. to leave. Nothing. lobby and enterance are so poor. Breakfast was poor. coffee maker prices noisy.
