The proximity to the Aerobus stop and the Las Ramblas experience --without the noise -- was all you could ask for. They also got me into a room at 10 am so I was able to get some rest and shower before exploring. The next day I met with family for a planned cruise. We left our passports on the front desk and the hotel was able to call our cab and save us! Superb service! Thank you Pulitzer.

There is a great outdoor patio that looked beautiful, I wish we were there in warmer weather so we could have made use of it. Hotel is in a great location. The wifi internet connection in the rooms was extremely low (for reasons which have nothing to do with my laptop!).floors were not carpeted and I could hear people in room next door. Room was too small, difficult to move and store luggage.Working with a laptop in the room was a bit cumbersome. Allthough every thing was excellent but unfortunetly i killed a cockroach in the bath room.Dessert was completely lacking and did not try the hotel restaurant as a result. a beet noisy from the street. The bath tub did not have supports for getting out. We did not care for the elaborate lighting system in our room. And, unfortunately, the shower door was corroded with lime deposits, etc. and the leakage caused a big puddle of water on the floor after each shower.We have no complaints about this hotel because we found it exactly as advertised. Had to book a separate room for my daughter because they are so strict about the number of people matching the number of beds. No extra people allowed.Breakfast pricey but delicious. Noise levels from the corridors were occasioanlly intrusive. poor internet access. street noise. Not really. The only negative was the airconditioner was not working properly. This was very minor.Yes i Los my ring it was only silver, and i forget it in baddrom, on the morning and when i came in the evening back to room he was not ther, i know that it was my mistake but i was sure that i find it there for sure. could hear a "pin drop" ( room not sound proof), breakfast expensive. WiFi internet service not functional. Free WiFi is a wonderful feature but it should be tested regularly. The system claimed to be full of users and asked that I try again later. This error was present for 60 hours with no exception and in all corners of the hotel. Hotel staff couldn't help. minor issues only. room not especially spacious. TV - only 2 English chanels. (no tea/coffee facilities in room - but fairly standard for Spanish hotels).

By airport bus:
A blue bus, called “Aerobús”, runs a shuttle service from the airport to the city centre. The buses leave every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 35 minutes. The nearest bus stop is in Plaza Catalunya.

By taxi:
Taxis are available throughout the day at all the terminals, the journey takes about 30-35 minutes and costs about 30 euros.

If you arrive in Barcelona from the airport in Gerona on the Costa Brava:
By bus:
From Gerona airport to the Estación del Norte in Barcelona. From there you can take a taxi or Line 1 on the underground as far as the Plaza de Catalunya station.
