Loved the staff, everyone there was very very nice, talkative and
helpful. The location was good too, directly next to a metro station,
but if you don't want to take a metro you are already on the street
that takes you right to La Rambla. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to
the very end of La Rambla. If you like to walk it's also about a 20-
25 minute walk to La Sagrada Familie. In a nut shell, it's very
central to everything. I enjoyed my stay in this hostel very much. It is

I often stay in this hostel when passing through Barcelona on business. It's a really beautiful, clean hostel with crisp white sheets and duvets. The Spanish guy on reception was incredibly kind and helpful, even at 3.30 in the morning when I needed some water! This is a good hostel for a traveller or business person who wants a quiet bed for the night at a great price. It's not a party hostel so you can actually get some sleep here!.
very nice and cosy, felt very homely. it was very quiet and a respectful atmosphere. did notmake any new aquaintances though but thats the hostels fault...maybe its just quiet people staying there and there is no bar to get together.

The location is ideal for a "city tourist", close to pubblic means of transport and quite a number of attractions. I liked the simple and modern furniture and the colour of the walls.

I was in a room with very cool and friendly people, but besides them no
one really talked or hung out except for the staff. It's a very
quiet hostel and if you're looking to socialize while you're
there it might be difficult depending on who's staying. That would
be my only real complaint which isn't even the hostel's fault.

The bathrooms: when one uses hot water on one bathroom then the other bathroom does not get hot water hence one has to wait.
Needs a few small items: curtains in the rooms and hooks on the wall or door for towels and other "hangy" items.

As the hostel is in an old house, the plumbing was quite loud. Furthermore having the kitchen right across the hall increased the noise. As the window opened to an inner yard, it was hard to create the air circulation needed.
