excellent hotel facilities, large and comfortable room and bathroom, very friendly and helpful staff, accessibility to center (2 stops with Mero and 20 mins on foot to the Las Ramblas Street), accessibility to the airport (20mins with bus, line 46, station in Plaza Espanya). Great location, relaxed atmosphere, lots of bars and restaurants close-by, great breakfast, tourist bus passes the hotel, staff were very efficient and understanding when one of our group became ill during dinner.

Location is good near Plaza Espanya, however public transport (bus / metro) are over a 10 min walk away and takes a good 15-20 min bus ride to get to city centre (La Rambla or Plaza Catalunya). I left my chocolate in the fridge!!. restaurant (probably because of redecoration restaurant was moved to one of conference rooms...? ) but food OK. Forget about pool: poor quality (like in 1star hotel) + very chlorine water. Pool and sauna was a little disappointment. Hotel parking is expensive (36€/night). no coffee maker in the room. the access to the pool/fitness disabled an hour before closure was not advertised and should be enabled since a guest could also just use the pool for 20 minutes also.Very small point - although the bathrooms have all the "mod cons" coulddo with modernising/decorating. I believe the hotel's restaurant was expensive.The breakfast room is very noisy (bad acoustics). Breakfast is unreasonably expensive with respect to the quality and selection. the bboklet about the facilities was not up to date (e.g. swimming pool opening times were not correct), the interactive menu on the tv did not function properly, there was no possibility for an alarm (or wake-up call) or it was not communicated.Internet connection should be free for a hotel like this, I did not havea minibar in my room. Check out - we had to ask for booking.com special price.Trivial, but no tea or coffee facilities in room, for this price 120 euros breakfast should be included. Car parking expensive.
