The rooms decoration was modern and nice and it was quite clean. The hotel staff were freindly. The hotel location is perfect... In Rambla st and very close to the port and main shopping/dinning attractions and museams. The hotel was centrally located so it was easy to get around to most places, with links to buses and metro near by. Hotel was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The floor of the lobby was very dirty and it took the hotel more than 3 hours to clean it ... what a surprise for guests to check in a hotel and see tree leaves, tissues and coffee cups on the floor ...As for the room, there is no place/space to keep the clothes/suitecases. The bath room door was made of glass which is quite uncomfortable... The room lights needs more maintenance and the safe was broken. We stayed for 4 days but our towels were not changed, even though the room was cleaned daily. Also, the floor mat was taken out of our bathroom on the second day and not replaced. television had no english channels but should we really expect them in a foreign country. was nice to have a balcony overlooking la ramblas but would have preferred to have a divide between the other room. We had to share our balcony with the room next door, our neighbour was a smoker and kept passing our room to use the ashtray. Was feeling sick one afternoon, and wanted a warm cup of tea. No tea/coffee in room, and room service was closed. It was only 6pm. There were a few scuff marks on the walls, which didn't bother us, but it wouldn't take much to get rid of. This hotel is very modern and minimalist so if you wanted somewhere with character, this would not be the place to stay. The outside view in my room was not very much beuty. The breakfast not good it all. They not change the bed sheet every day. there was nothing in the room, no tea or cafe maker, no slippers and very small rooms. breakfast was poor and not worth the money, white walls were dirty, no wardrobe. Nothing in particular. There was no cupboard space - only a rack for clothes. There was insufficient bench space to put toiletries and cosmetics in the bathroom. Needs a bedside table - rather than a table which is taken up with phone and information. Only one chair in room with a small desk. No dislikes with hotel just a little dissapointed that local bars seem to have two prices, one for locals and another for tourists. 39 euros for two drinks was not good. The hotel could really benefit from a bar area. -A little bit poor breakfast. Nothing. No drawer space in room - for more than one night stay, would have liked to have a drawer for small items etc. Not enough space to put clothes & no bidet in the bath room. Many leaves inside, some cigarette butts and bottles on the floor. Sorry but for 4 star hotel, this should be controlled every 30 min. It was like this 4 hours. The room was cold. Although it was set for 24, it didn't go above 19. Very poor ranges of breakfast. Staff were not helpful, I booked a twins bed room but when I arrived they told they haven't got it so I took a king size bed. No one help you to get your luggage to your room. No space to put your luggage, it only fits 1 suitcase. Path room door was glass & the price was high. The nightly noise : outside all night until 5.30 from people shouting at the square => putting soundproof glass might help. Noisy - not soundproofed at all! We paid a lot of money... We were expecting a better room with more space. At least a place to make a cup of coffee or tea.
