For a 4 star hotel I would have expected tissues to be supplied in the room. the staff is a bit inexperienced and english is weak, this obviously is only a problem for non-spanish speaking travelers.The blankets were missing from the room (just daily blanket and sheets) and also the breakfast wasn't as good as we expected (plus it was extra). And for double rooms also shampoos, shower gels should be more than one piece to be shared... No soap and bath/showergel even after I asked twice and promises were made they would take care of it.Barcelona is noisy at night and the windows could be better insulated. Providing a pair of ear plugs is not the right way to deal with this. no sound insulation in room, could hear conversation outside the room, and woken up by cleaners cleaning the next room each morning. noise of the cleaning staff in the mourning next to our room. Room was too warm and stuffy. It was cool outside (late October) and was able to open window which helped. The front desk informed they had just turned off the AC's for the winter. I believe it should be available year round at a 4 star. If you need circulated AC in Autumn - Spring, do not stay here.room size inadequate for 3 persons. First room they gave us had a stong smell of cigar. Second one, we had to ask to be changed to a more comfortable room (bed was small + small room) . The third room was better but noisy (third floor). Room safe was broken, staff very slow to respond to help fix theproblem. Eventually was told at about 1.30am that nothing could be donethat night. Was moved to another room the next day(which was a goodsolution). New room had no shampoo. House-keeping informed, did notreplace it the same day. Next day had to be reminded.Hotel quite farfrom sights.

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 12 km from Barcelona’s El Prat International Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. Alternatively, you can take public transport. Take the suburban train to Gornal, there change to the Funicular to Espanya and from there take the red line (line one) on the Metro to Universitat.

By Metro:
The hotel is between Urgell and Universitat Metro stations, both of which are on the red line (line one) of Barcelona’s Metro system.

By Car (from Barcelona’s El Prat International Airport):
- Take the C-32B towards Barcelona.
- Once you enter the surroundings of Barcelona, continue on the C-32, following the signs:
Salida 16 B - Barcelona
C31 – Gran Fira
E-90 – Ronda del Litoral
Barcelona-Ciutat Bella
- Continue on the A-2 / B-10.
- Pass by L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, take the exit towards Salida 21 Paralel, La Rambla, Montjuic, Port Vell.
- As you enter Barcelona, turn right at Passeig de Josep Camer
- Turn left on to Avinguda Paral-lel.
- At the roundabout, turn right onto Gran Vía De Les Corts Catalanes, where the hotel is located. Carry on up Gran Vía De Les Corts Catalanes until you pass Carrer del Comte D’Urgell on the right-hand side. The hotel is just a little further on.

Parking:
The hotel has private parking available for guests’ use at an additional cost. It is not necessary to reserve parking spaces in advance.

By Bus:
A number of city buses run from the bus stop near the hotel, including 9, 14, 20, 37, 50, 54, 56, 58, 59, 63, 64, 66, 67, 68, 120.
