This was our family's first trip to Barcelona and the B Hotel was an excellent place to stay. The entire staff was very friendly and most helpful anytime we needed help. Our rooms were very modern and clean along with having several amenities. We loved the location since it was just a block away from the Metro station that took us to La Ramlas and other popular sites. We would stay here again.

Although it was not part of the package the breakfast was well worth the money. The options available at breakfast would cater for all tastes. More like a temporary apartment than a hotel (albeit a small apartment) Staff left you alone unless you needed assistance. Lots of spaces to hang around if wanted to relax but close to everything when you wanted to venture out.It was quiet although it lies on a busy street. The room was clean and comfortable. Staffs was very friendly and helpfully. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We would come back again. Everything was excellent, the room was perfect with a great view, staffvery friendly and the roof top solarium/pool was very special. A 6 Euro taxi ride from Rablas. The hotel was very modern and the roof top terrace and pool were beautiful. I suppose the car park was a little of a tight squeeze but the car was totally safe down there.No tea or coffee in the room. The blinds from our bathroom didn't work and they were falling.It might be just me, but the underground car park is difficult to manoeuver out of. The intercom for the gate is half way up a steep gradient and is invariably followed by a frantic hill start ... nothing seriosly. the location. There is noise from traffic in the night and construction in the morning, but this is related to the central location of the hotel. Anything on a major intersection would be the same. A pair of earplugs meant that I slept soundly.Took a while to sort out modern bathroom but we got there in the end!. The bathroom were smal. The view from some rooms is poor ,. noisy. I wish the hotel had a wheel chair service, for I have a problem in my leg and to view barcelona I had to rent one. not walking distance to the shopping centre. The design is gloomy, the hotel is dark, the light system in the room is complicated and not effective and the aquarium like bathroom is strange. There is a black (!!??) rubber like sofa - very uncomfortable. seem not too much storage box such as no drawer , the safety box didn't work.The wlan did not work. room servise. so modern some of the switches and faucets were hard to figure out. The lighting system in the room was not easy to manipulate. There is work going on at La Plaza de Torros next door which woke us up around 9am on Monday morning. The personal! Its is like they are never here!. It's noisy because of the traffic and the construction in the neighborhood. Very masculine orientated. I didn't like the bar, uncomfortable atmosphere and a particular magazine that was placed around it. Also the colour scheme in the bedroom ie drapes and bedspread lacked warmth. The picture in the toilet, same one on the 7th floor, weird looking, was my wifes opinion,. Like more privacy in the bathroom area. would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in room. There was little privacy in some of the bathrooms. high tech does not work, bar is empty.

Travelling information

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 10 km from Barcelona International Airport and taxis are readily available from outside the airport. The journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 20 minutes.

By Bus (from Barcelona International Airport):
Barcelona has a special Aerobus airport bus service and buses run regularly from the airport to various locations in the city. There are clearly marked bus stops just outside the airport terminal. The nearest bus stop to the hotel is Plaza España. From the bus stop, go round the square to the right until you find yourself next to the bullring, Las Arenas. Head down Gran Via, keeping on the right-hand side. The hotel is just one-minute’s walk away, on the first corner on the left.

By Train and Metro:
Take the train from the airport to Sants Estació (Barcelona’s Sants train station). Take line 3 on the Metro (the green line) towards Canyelles and get off at España (one stop). From the metro station, go round the square (Plaza España) to the right, until you find yourself next to the bullring, Las Arenas. Head down Gran Via, keeping on the right-hand side. The hotel is just one-minute’s walk away, on the first corner on the left.

By Car:
- Take the C-32B motorway towards Barcelona.
- Follow the signs for Barcelona-Girona-Lleida-Tarragona-Gran Via-Ciutat Vella.
- Once you enter Barcelona, you should be on the Gran Via.
- Go through the tunnel, keeping to the left-hand side.
- At the second crossing, turn left and left again, so that you are now driving up Gran Via in the other direction.
- When you reach the hotel, turn the corner and the car park is next to the main entrance.
