all reviews » Staff spoke very good English and were helpful. Room had nice view to the street. Whole hotel is non smoking. Good location, 5min walk from las ramblas, metro just outside the entrance. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was typical. Power stayed on when leaving the room, so I could leave devices to recharge while away.The location,the staff were pleasant even those who did not speak English tried their best.The breakfast was good and plentiful while the service at breakfast was excellent. I liked how the staff were well prepared and were able to help us when questions were asked about directions and so forth. Variety of food offered for breakfast.The location is excellent. Toilet made a dripping noise all night. Hazardous power socket, the base was loose and when unplugging, the wires got all exposed. Old locks on doors. No WiFi. The breakfast was the same every day. Perhaps it could be more diverse... And the noise coming from the street was tiring at times...Similar breakfast, flavourless beans and sausages. Had room at front of hotel on the busy road, the noise goes on all night so may disturb some people. Breakfast was a bit simple, but it was ok. Some parts of the hotel/room looked quite old. Could not open 1 of 2 windows, rollerblind did not function on both 2 windows, had to use light also during the day.The room was very dark and there was noise almost all night. We were given the smallest room on our floor, maybe because of the availability, maybe because we booked online. I'll never know.Other residents noise and building noise. Its a bit inconvenient to obtain hot drinking water as there wasn't a kettle available. Also luggage security was very lax. I walked to the counter and said i wanted to collect my bag and the staff just let me into the baggage area without verifying who I was (it was a different staff on duty).Restaurant servers are unkind and could not speak English. Noise seems to travel in this hotel. We saw huge cockroach in our room. That was so disgusting! Beds was made for very short people... The rooms are different and the quality of the room depens by your luck. The rooms in the front have balcony and are bigger than the ones in the back.needs an uplift,furniture a bit old. the noise in the night from the neighbouring rooms cleanliness of the dishes at the breakfast. room size was a little small. Noisy and I could not turn off the radiator.It was too hot in the room because of it.Furniture in the room, door of the bathroom, silicon on the walls in the bathroom should be removved. the bed was not comfortable, there was not enough light in the room. The room had only ony window to the air well. credit card machine did not work. Traffic noise at night. It was very basic and old. the heating was on all through the night and we couldn't turn it off. Bathroom old and smelly because the window cannot be opened.elevators were battered. w had one broken coat hanger between the two of us. the curtains where hanging off the rail not whwt we expect from any rating hotel. The price was not reflecting the quality of the room. Should have been less, could get a better room in same price, like bigger room, double bed was very small, and also in the website says that its very close to city which is not really if u are walking. No hairdryer in the room, coffee machine would have been nice and the bathroom in general needs renovations to be made. I stayed in a very bad room in my first night at the hotel...
