Perfect place for me to catch up on some sleep after a trip to Morocco.   The hotel parking is very useful and it is also free. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway access and this makes it very useful as a stop when visiting the Tarifa/Gibraltar area.   It was located relatively close to the bus station, not quite as close as described but still walking distance. The owner was very helpful in telling us places to eat and things to see, and offered to book a trip or tour to Morocco; however when we arrived we were exhausted, weak, and dripping sweat, and we just wanted to see the room. Very helpful which is why this is under positives, but we didn't appreciate it as much as we shoul - The staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful - Jose and Rosa went out of their way to try describe all the things to do in the area as well as recommend local restaurants, etc. Rosa speaks English and Jose speaks German in addition to Spanish. We felt like we were staying with friends. There is a small kitchen available as well as a washing machine. Located near the port, train and bus stations as well as close to a lovely town square we found the location ideal. It was a great base for driving

I intended the stop as a necessary stay for an early morning train (only a relatively short walk from the station and bus station) but I was surprised at the value for the price of the room. No breakfast but plenty of choice of cafes close by . The hotel is on the main market square of the city so plenty of buzz early mo... what people say » rning. - Great location for someone needing a place to stay before/after a ferry ride to Morocco. I ended up staying a day in Algeciras because I forgot that Spain's time is an hour ahead of Morocco and I missed my bus to Lisbon. Algeciras is pleasant little town when you get a block or so back from the waterfront.
