The proximity to Menlyn Mall and the wedding venue. Free wifi was an advantage although the signal in some places wasn't that good. Loved the breakfasts. Management were most helpful in helping us organize transport to the wedding, and the family dinner they cooked for us was delicious and very reasonable. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. My husband and I run our own guest house, so are highly aware of how a guest house should be run. I would give Constantia Manor Guest House full marks for every detail,from reception, rooms, breakfast and location.
all reviews » I loved my room. The price was decent and the location was perfectly located to freeways, shopping centre and Pretoria CBD. I think its a beautifully hidden accomodation and situated in a pretty quite area. The hospitality of staff, all of the team is involved in the comfort of their guests. Keep it that way, more guests will really pour in. Wish to have stayed longer. Be blessed!. The Guest House is well situated and has a relaxing atmosphere. The green gardens and classy look of the guest house contributes to the above. the place was really attractive I never thought it would be as show on the internet. Have 1 or 2 music channels on TV. Nothing. they have a bar but it was not open on a thurday night and the bar fridge in the rooms have nothing alcoholic either.so that was quite dissapointing as we would have liked to have a drink after 6 hours drive. Really can't think of anything. stay was good. Only small thing the shower screen leaked leaving a large puddle on the floor. Nothing at all. Smell of fresh paint. Nothing really. The bath had a leak and all the water ended up on the floor, not nice at all at 10:30pm. Poor service- nobody to help carry baggage upstairs or assist you to your car while raining heavily. Had to run twice to an fro in rain to get my stuff in my car. Would have appreciated a coffee plunger with quality filter coffee in room. A rusk with your morning coffee would also be nice Down duvet too hot during summer times. Breakfast quite basic and no choice of how you would like your eggs. Definitely not "sumptuous" as advertised.
