My boyfriend and I spent two night here and found it to be easily accessible to all areas of interest as well as the downtown area. Staff was friendly and host was informative and friendly. Wonderful treat to take a swim and wi-fi access was great. Breakfast in the morning was top notch, room was clean and fully equipped for tea, coffee as well as refrigerator and microwave. The welcome Sherry was a wonderful treat after the long drive from Cape Town. I would recommend this to anyone looking.
all reviews » Earthbound B&B was an amazing place to stay. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel as though we were at home. The room was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and extremely comfortable. A lovely and very tasty breakfast was served in a basket right to our room. Wish we could come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and all the awesome outdoor space. One of the best stays on our whole journey. Highly recommended!!. On arrival were waited in after getting lost the personal touch was great the owner took us to our room got a sherry and explained to us about breakfast and just the extra trouble that marie went trough was great we will come back any time a great exiting breakfast and to crown it I am in the trade and I wish all accomadation was of this standard well done marie derek and amanda lowe. This is a really lovely B&B. We were thrilled at the luxury and the attention to detail. We were welcomed with a glass of sherry each and spent a relaxing late afternoon sitting on the porch drinking wine and enjoying the fantastic garden. Our hostess was very friendly and gave us some good advice on where to go to eat out in the town. Everything was to our full satisfaction. We enjoyed all the comfort the B&B offered, which ranged from a nicely designed bedroom and bath, electric blanket to a welcome brandy and even champaign and snacks once the owner learned that we were on honeymoon. Amazing place :). Excellent accommodation, room 3 was just perfect with a choice of eating inside and outside. Breakfast was delivered to your room at a requested time. Decor throughout was very artistic and tasteful, thank you Marie. Great service and great location. Highly recommended!. I liked the privacy that the room and outside area provided. I also liked the design and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were fantastic.We enjoyed sitting outside in our own little area for breakfast it felt very romantic. Wow! Nicest B&B I have stayed in - can't believe it's only 3 star. Beautiful room, lovely bathroom, air con worked a treat (and was needed!). Bonnet the cat was very friendly too. Cycling needs can be eazy, good rest/relaxation, comfortable and close to the event. Earthbound made our stay extemelly nice which resulted in me getting 2 gold medals. Room was superbly appointed Loved the separate personal breakfast area and really appreciated the electric blanket on the chilly winter nights Service was excellent. In was a little way out of the centre of the town so we could not walk to get dinner but no problem for us as we did have our own transport. It is located outside the city center, so you better have a car to reach it. Then it is no problem. Having to leave after just one night!. I would have liked homemade bread with my breakfast and maybe homemade stewed fruit (guavas, plums) would have been lovely with the fresh fruit and yoghurt. Nothing - this place is great. Nothing. Wifi wasnt available in the room!. Nothing. A bit difficult to find without GPS in our car as the directions given were a bit confusing, but a phone call or 2 got us there with ease. Nothing at all just brilliant. None. Nothing. 1'We arrived, they explained where to park and without any kind of warning from their side , the gate closed and damaged our car. We are still waiting for somebody to speak to. Can you be of any assistance.2. We have no T.V. connection.
