The breakfast buffet was well-presented and tasty; there was something for all.We enjoed our stay very much. Friendly, good location and clean. Everything is just excellent. Recently renovated room, really modern, big, beer and drinks in fridge that are COMPLIMENTARY (unheard of on my other travels in Croatia), well designed, flatscreen TV with crystal clear picture, friendly helpful staff, fantastic location, view of Ljubljana Castle and St Nicholas Church.

No tea/coffee making facility in room. Complimentary mini-bar in superior room consisted of 2 coke and 2 beers!. Sound insulation between room - zero points! We could hear normal conversation, not to mention little baby which cried constantly starting at 6 AM. I suppose we were lucky that we had some sleep at all. Maybe just a bad luck, but...They did try to charge more for the two nights than the amount shown in my booking confirmation. I had to present a printout in order to get the earlier agreed price. The dinner. No free wireless in the room. The hotel is crowded with groups of tourists so the entrance hall and breakfast/ dinner room can be a bit messy. If you are looking for an independent hotel full of charm, this is not the place.Small shower cubicle with awful plastic shower curtain, causing flooding of the bathroom floor. Expect better in hotel of this standard and price. I was rather unlucky and my room was not cleaned the first day of my stay. I reported it. They said it was a mistake they would investigate.staff not too keen to accommodate request for a late check-out.
