Fantastic trip!! I Loved my stay at pension union, highlighted by brothers who run it. The room was spotless and large and the breakfast was fantastic! Me & my girlfriend stayed here for two days as we explored bled and went on a tour of the emelald river and had a great time. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the lake. HIghly Recommended. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. A family run hotel with two brothers being front-of-house, and their father playing the piano in the restaurant when we were there. Room was very spacious and clean. Parking at the hotel was nearby and free. Restaurant served good food. An ideal stop-over place for us - we will be returning in future.
all reviews » Very nice and kind person. Many thanks for sending us to train station on Sunday (on Sunday have a little bit less local transportation than normal days) . Big room comfortable for 3 persons. We also like breakfast, serve as we want with good quality things. Hotel is very easy to find. Bus stop Union infront of hotel. near by the lake. Staff was amazing - booked the wrong night and they were more than willing to accommodate. Ate at their restaurant for dinner and it was fantastic. Family run very friendly. Bathroom says detached; it was attached (good) but it was freezing - might have been our fault didn't realize there was a separate heater for it. The staff particularly the brothers Tom and Vlado. The lift was a goodsend. The open air BBQ/ grill produced excellent food and our suckling pig cooked in hot ashes in a 'bell' was a treat. Our waitress who sang beautifully one evening. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage and air conditioner. Great value for the money. Wonderful brothers who own the place and provided a great breakfast just what we wanted. Food location, great restaurant. Wall of windows bringing in lots of light. Big room, free parking in the adjacent lot. We would stay there again. Location, just in front of the first bus stop coming from Ljubljana, is perfect. The owners are a great source of information. The apartments are large, clean, silent and comfortable. Food was tasty. Nothing. weak wi-fi signal in room (2 floor), mold in bathroom. Would have liked the capacity to make a cup of tea in the room -ie an electric kettle. A double bed rather than two singles pushed together. There was a worn rubber shower mat on the floor of the shower blocking the drain. When I pulled it away there were gobs of black hair, mold on the underside of the mat and it ruined the mood. Yuck. I liked everything. No chicinette. Room a little spartan but clean. Shower pretty basic. Nothing except bad wether. Bathroom is quite small and outside the main room - although no too inconvenient. Toalets is not accecible from room. The place reminds one of a student dormitory. It is suitable for families or young people who are trying to save money. The place still reflects its communist heritage. No room cleaning unless you insist.
