Rooms are very spaceious and comfortable, nice and warm. Bed is also very comfi. Location is perfect for skiing. Food was very nice and high quality at the restaurant too. Ski rental was very easy to deal with. The hotel is very close to the slope, and we've enjoyed the ski- room, which was monitored and from which you could go out straight to the slope - very nice solution. The swiming pool, sauna, jacuzy, restaurent.bed and bathroom.

Information about the area

Demanovska Dolina with its peak Chopok (2021 metres) is an internationally renowned ski centre, and one of the best skiing destinations for the mountain holiday in Europe. It is the biggest and most popular ski centre in Slovakia, located in the Low Tatra Mountains. This centre was also a candidate for the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. This provided a real added value to the region. In no other ski region in Slovakia you will find such a wide range of facilities. There are 4 different ski resorts in Demanovska Dolina (Valley):Chopok North - where Hotel FIS Jasna is situated; Zahradky; Jasna; Otupne and Chopok South. Beginners can take first steps at the ski run Biela Put just outside the Hotel FIS Jasna. All lovers of extreme and adrenaline sports will enjoy the free ride area in a snowboard park, open for both snowboarders and freestyle skiers. English-speaking skiing instructors are available.
