  Large, well appointed and tastefully decorated rooms. Very comfortable beds. Near beau vallon which is one of the nicest beaches on Mahe. Pretty smaller beach just 5 min from the guesthouse, almost entirely desetred (but then in July almost all beaches are empty) - Nice view, modern and clean. Staff friendly but not always available to assist.

  I brought my families to stay 4 nights in this hotel, we have 5 people and rent a villa with 3 bedrooms. The villa is good, clean and comfortable. However if you are expecting sea view it would not be there. Their staff, Dominic, Nada, are really helpful, Mr La Fontaine is a nice gentleman. I have met good friend there and hope to stay there once... what people say » more. The location is not far from sea, you just need to go through La merdine Hotel. There is a bus stop which takes you to Victoria. Highly recomm - Everything is OK with La Fontaine. We stayed in Villa two. Property is almost new. I would recommend to rent a car to get to nearest attractions `cause it`s not a good idea to walk to the ocean aside the road, even if it`s just 300 mts. Staff is helpful. Excellent views from balconies.

Great staff, all facilities available incuding complimentary surfboards, catamarans, snorkling gear etc. Also very nice massages and treatments available, with a 30% discount if you book before 14.00 hrs. Best restaurant outside resort is 'la Plage' on north side of Isla - I thought the resort was amazing. In some reviews people were complaining about the food. But I thought th food was amazing, expecially the buffet catered to my picky eater. And the buffet had a theme every night. And the staff was amazing. They are so friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We were assigned our own staff member for any issues, his name is Sunil and he was amazing.

  I travel quite a lot on business and one hotel looks very much like another. So, the first impression of this place is the drive to the Villa, up hill!!! but once you are there (WOW) breath taking view and the place is so peaceful. All you get is the sound of the overflowing pool and the birds as your greeting. A warm welcome with a cold towel and... what people say » a refreshing drink. When you enter the Villa, you think "I've come home". This place has four bedrooms, so you start to think, I'll never get my own - Jon and Michel were the perfect hosts and could not do enough for us. Free upgrade to master suite and paid for spa day in compensation for a film crew being at the villa for a day. An unexpected surprise. Great food and service. Any request always met without any fuss.
