I made reservations from another country and they were responsive via email. They have a free shuttle from the airport that worked perfectly. They had an excellent breakfast included and a very nice pool for use. Most of the staff were excellent, the room was clean and comfortable and air conditioned. Location, I had a room facing the beautiful sea. Pool and bar area very classy and comfortable (Novotel and Ibis share all these common areas).

The wi fi did not work in the room and the receptionist had a some kind of superiority attitude. Everyone else was helpful and friendly and made my stay very enjoyable!. Breakfast buffet ok but not in the average of other Ibis in Europe (less choice) Price for a 3 star....but this is for all the hotels in Senegal. The food. There was no variety to choose from. The hotel does not cater for vegetarians. The hotel did not have variety of fresh fruit juice. nothing. We were not picked from the airport and it was a little diffult for us being the first time. We do not speak french and most people we tried to arrange transportation with do not speak english. Receiption staff was very disappointed, he gave me wrong room type, I reguested on the booking for one king size bed but i got another one and it took time to change. The same person when he issue me the invoice when checked out, he did not understand what he has to do and even explain to customer what he have done. It made me moody on the first day and last day....... The booking showed that the check out time was between 1200 - 1700 hours. This information was printed on my booking receipt. However, when requested to stay til 1700 hours I was adviced that their check out time was 1200 and if I wanted to stay pass that I would have to pay half the daily rate. This should be clarified for the future. The people that harass you when you walk outside of the gates. Beakfast without Expresso.
