The restaurant and bar area was among the best we have ever experienced. the food served had an extremely high level. the room was very nice, clean and comfy. the atmosphere is relaxed and very importantly, very quite. last but not least, the staff were very helpful. this hotel is up there among the best hotels we have stayed in aorund the world and we´ll definitely be back. Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

When the outside temperature is around 15 inside room is cold in the night. As usually for Sokos hotels in Russia, they have problems to give paper registration of visa to foreigners...considering that guests pay it !. The restaurant staff is very slow to take orders and serve. Very dry air in the rooms, asked for a quiet room, got a room on the last floor near the ventilation, which was very noisy. Breakfast - the coffe is really a disaster -. hot water changes to cold in a shower from time to time. Lack of drawers. Staff. The hotel was being renovated! I know this needs to be done from time to time, but I stayed for 2 weeks and they gave me a room in the middle of the construction! The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke, the shower was broken, I needed to ask to have me room cleaned 5 days, the bathroom was cheap, rude staff, no real shampoo to hair conditioner!!!! Prices in the restaurant and bar are so high it made us not even try! Honestly the worst, 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast, attitude of stuff. Paid 411EUR for overnight in small, average level room. Had very average breakfast and when was asking for a cup of good coffee get a 5EUR bill together of it. I do not smoke,but the room was with terrible smell!!!!!! Also I have seen a hole in the ceiling. I came to the gotel at 10.30 in the morning and had to wait until 14.00 when the room was ready. When I came back at 14.00 the room was still not ready and I had to wait 25 min in the lobby. The reception staff did not even apologize for delay. 2 machine laundry 400 usd.insane price, ac was noisy,no cleaning if you leave late, personal very rude bar at restaurant.reception scare I will ask question.room service charge extra very funny ,water pressure very low. Didn't like that they gave me a room with 2 separate beds and a shower, although I was traveling with my wife! There weren't free slippers in the room! I had to pay for them, but as it said in the web site-they are to be included. No shampoo...only liquid soap! Awful!.
